I personally found it the best of the 3. Cinderella 2 might have been even better if it wasn't about short stories but instead a continuation where u find out how Cinderella manages as a princess and future queen with lots of responsibilities and no prince charming to save her.
Honestly this movie is so good, the characters got way more development and chemistry than their classic self, and everyone is severely hotter than in the original.

Probably cuz it was created in a more modern era and plus ✨cash✨ really helps with 2D production. Also, too add to your question, I think that The Lion King 2 had pretty smooth animation as far as sequels go.

not gonna lie, after the snorefest Cinderella 2 was, this movie felt like they actualy regretted it so much they went out of their way to make a third one to leave people with a lasting good taste in their mouths. Even the opening of it feels like it mocks the second movie.
I feel like they studied Judge Claude Frollo from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre-Dame (1996), and Rameses II from DreamWork's The Prince of Egypt (1998) for Lady Tremaine's character in this film.
I always thought that the king was kinda mean like he forces his son to marry. But after reading a lot of kingdom stories. I kinda get why he is like that ( he wants the kingdom to have a successor after his son. Plus he just wants to see his son in his big day of his live before dead. ) Good thing he doesn't make a forced arranged marriage. He lets his son choose a girl in the ball. In the 2nd and 3rd movie we get to know about him more. Here he seems like a good father in law. UwU
I like that you can see it’s Lady Tremaine that beat and brainwashed her daughters into being ruthless abusive monsters, just like her. The minute Anastasia is out if her grasp bc of court ethiquettes, her redemption arc starts bc she actually isn’t as evil as her mother. And I think it’s even reflected in her looks. She isn’t actually ugly, many ppl made the comparison with Ariel, imo she looks tired, depressed and someone who has been under pressure for years. Which fits perfectly with how her mother would’ve treated her. There’s also multiple times where it is implied physical punishment is no stranger to Lady Tremaine. The only one that’s truly kinda evil is Griselda but note that unlike Anastasia she never leaves her mother. Giving her no chance to actually make any moral decisions on her own.
I remember I used to hate the twin sisters when I was a kid but like now...I actually like them. They're so funny and just really silly. Cinderella is super beautiful, the prince is iconic as hell and I actually like the grandmother in this too ~
