I was told I needed converter wow I paid, picked my car few days later coolant light showed up after putting some and its still on. Watching this now am thinking probably I did not need converter and that guy did not even check the tube I just watched. So angry lol wish you can fix my car haha thanks for sharing.
Dear Mr Landon, Dear Kent, Good day. I am from Kurdistan, and own a Mercedes Benz s class 350, 2012. It is driven 16 miles, only. I have a problem with it and here nobody can diagnose correctly. When I drive it for a while and pull over it produces a loud noise. The location of the noise is in the front driver’s side. It is something like a repeating (chk chk chk). The compressor seems to be OK because the AC (cold air) is fine. There is also a little leak on the passenger’s side engine, close to the pulleys. I recorded this with my phone. I put my phone under the engine and I found this shown in the picture.
What do you need to use for the small hose under it? Seems like it just needs to be pushed in all the way and tbh I don’t wanna remove all that just to push it up a bit more but I can’t tell if it’s a screw or bolt or just needs vice grips
These hoses have an o ring on the ends of them.Sometimes they dry out and crack and you can replace them for about $5 at pelican parts .lts best to grease the O rings with pure silicone grease, even on a brand new hose .lt will keep them from cracking and going bad .I thought I had a bad hose because it was dripping at the connection ,but it was just the o ring .
I relate to you in a lot of ways from how you mention things like look for a crack in the hose housing that you connect the upper radiator hose to... Funny thing is I just changed my radiator myself and that was the issue.
My MCS on my 2008 GL450 and CLK 350, both 2008, the Navegation stop working. It tells me that it cant read the navegation dvd. Everything else from the MSC works, I wonder if the lense is dirty,? but doesent take a cleaning lense dvd. Any ideas?

I can do one for the ml350 2006 which is similar. Please note that coolant does not flow directly from the reservoir to your water pump. It goes from the reservoir to the radiator and from there throughout the system.
Hello, I have slow drip of coolant coming from the driver side front control arm. Any thoughts as to what it might be? I see nothing from the top and side by the firewall. I’m going to take the bottom covers off and look up underneath above the control arm & around? Thx
Keith, steam was blowing from the drivers side firewall on my ml550 and I can see water leaking down the drivers side firewall behind the heat shield. Any suggestion of were the leak might be coming from.

Thanks for the positive feedback. To flush you fill the colant reservoir to the max line. Then with the hood open and the coolant reservoir still off. Start the engine and let it warm up. It should burp. Then cover the radiator reservoir. Close the hood and take it for a drive. Let the engine cool down for 4 hours. And repeat. This can be dangerous so wear eye protection and allow the engine to properly cool down between intervals.

I tried to remove the radiator drain plug but it broke. I drilled it and removed it. When I replaced it with a new drain plug, water was leaking from the litlle black hose next to the red drain plug, I assume I damaged the threads. What can I do to fix the problem?
in my case it showed the heating temperature message in-sighting to add coolant i stopped went to add the coolant i found out that the pipe you are cutting had not been clipped at the radiator actually it was not connected to the radiator we fixed that but it kept on showing the heating temperature you can drive for less than 300 metres then message pops up again you stop the car turn off the engine after 5 to 10 minutes you start the engine the temperature will be back to normal and the fan keeps on running the moment you start the car when you cut the engine the keeps on running to about 2 or 3 minutes then it stops what can i do i need your help E280

That’s what I use. My coolant sign pops up every 4-6 months however. No obvious signs of leak and I think even merc said they checked but found no leak! Is this normal ????
@@n1k32h No, it's not! You have two options (probably more)... Pressure builds-up only when the engine is hot and it can so be that it needs a certain pressure to open-up a tiny hole, usually that will be a tired crimping where the rubber is pressed by the joint. It might as well be a hair-like crack, but it's unusual; those things happen only to imbeciles who pour cold water into a hot engine, after losing coolant due to bad hoses... One option is to create pressure and do a read-out, but this involves tools or service fees. The second option is to get a bottle of Liqui Moly 20132, which is the ONLY product which will not harm your Mercedes. It's made in Germany and it's used as prevention in high-end German vehicles. I recommend you watch the factory video on the product. It sells between $5 and $16 depending on the seller and it's available on Amazon. Good luck! Get back with results!

Sounds like the starter is dying... It has developed a high and low spot and getting stuck. I would replace the starter as soon as possible.
