If we allow musilm minorities from Pakistan, Afganistan, Mynammer ..etc; Their numbers will be in millions, I do not we have resources to meet their basic needs. It will be disaster to handle their huge numbers. It make sense if we allow only minorities from islamic countries. We need to look the CAA act within financial mindset; I dont think secular fabric comes into play here.

It doesn't make sense why Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan (it is the majority ethnic tribe Pashtuns that invaded Kashmir post-independence) Muslims need to be given citizenship in India. If you are a Muslim from SriLankan and Iran, this CAA will not apply and still can get citizenship. Just because India chose to be secular, why should it ignore history and the religion that divided the country.

Felix is spinning this out of context here. This law does not have any impact on Indian citizens. It is only applicable to the religious minorities from neighboring countries. You cannot have outsiders enter the country just because the constitution says country is secular. I would expect someone like you to have some common sense.

No. 2 blunder : The Supporting Documents (the Affidavit) :
Most funny thing is that government proposed name of countries, name of community and nature of persecution, but government won't mandate them to give proof of their claim/eligibility. They won't be forced to show Pakistani passport/National identity card of Pakistan, documents to support their religion, the have to just make an affidavit. what does it mean ? it means if you entered in india from Myanmar or Malaysia you have to just make an affidavit that you are religiously persecuted in bangladesh and you have no documents of your claim, citizenship will be granted.. it means if you are a bangladeshi muslim and illegally settled in india for economic reasons, you have to convert to hindu by an affidavit to get citizenship.. it also means if you are a pakistani spy and have already entered india.. you have to just make an affidavit and carry on your mission..

what about indian citizens ? the poor, the homeless, the nomadic who lost their documents ?
if you are bengali muslim and your friend bengali hindu both settled in Assam from west bengal for economic reasons and have no documents.. how government will deal with you and your friends.. your friend make an affidavit of migration due to religious persecution in Bangladesh and will be granted citizenship/sympathy immediately ? how you will be dealt.. you have to prove citizenship by NRC documents you can't claim of persecution you have to leave your religion to do so or will be declared illegal resident/threat to country and basic rights will be snatched
It's added such way because these three countries are partitioned from India. The minorities were guaranteed by Gandhi that if things really does get so bad in those countries they can always come back here.
