  • I will show you how to use the DAP Wall Repair Patch Kit with DryDex Spackling. You don't need to be a professional (I'm not) to know how to patch a hole in your drywall. Here is a link to get it from Amazon: amzn.to/3qtvgLp
this will cover and fix any holes that you may have at home. I know that doorknobs are notorious to leave some of these. In my case, I covered a hole that I had in my bathroom.
I get a small commission from the affiliate link above. It helps me. thanks!

Only thing im worried about is since the patch is outside the hole and kinda thick doesn't it make the wall kind of uneven at the end. i just patched a hole using the same kit for a door knob hole in the wall and at the moment it isn't dried after like 8 hours and you can see it makes the wall look uneven despite having tried to really apply it correctly should it be good after sanding?

If you get larger finishing knives then you can apply more coats going wider and then feather it out. This video is helpful BUT it's not the exact way to do this if you're looking for a "perfect looking" repair. Also, you should prime the repair before painting it to keep the texture of the wall consistent and hide any repair work better.
