Spring Clean up - Jarvis Forest Management Ep. 11

We often spend mud season taking the time to clean up! From picking up trash, to going to various properties to check on things, this is the perfect time of year to do so! (It's also Nova's favorite work time of year just because of the things we get to do!)

00:37 - 00:48 Bill chats with a woods worker as another uses the excavator to reshape the Bald Mountain Road after some of the blocks underneath the bridge at mile 2.1 shifted.
00:48 - 00:54 The excavator walks back down the road away from the bridge.
00:54 - 01:09 Bill takes photos of the road freshly reshaped as Nova films both him and the road.
01:09 - 01:28 Bill digs sticks and leaves out of a culvert that were backing up the water flow.
01:28 - 01:42 Bill and Nova ride the ATV into an area as Harley scouts the way ahead.
01:43 - 02:42 Bill uses the ATV to take out old boats that were left in this area. The first one had to have a hole drilled into it to hook onto. Every attempt previously to drag this boat ended up ripping pieces off. If you listen carefully, you can even hear it crack again. The second boat was a decent canoe that ended up being stolen.
02:42 - 03:00 Nova takes down an illegally built structure. Using both the drill and some good kicks, she manages to take it all down.
03:00 - 03:20 Harley helps out by destroying a plant.
03:20 - 03:47 Bill and Harley play with a stick in the water. Harley has lots to say when he can use his outside voice!
03:47 - 04:00 Bill and Harley walk back down a road after going to open a gate.
04:00 - 04:10 Nova asks Bill if they went by the Slidedown Trail already. She clearly knows exactly where she is.
04:10 - 04:23 Nova checks on the geocache in the Slidedown Trail area. Any geocachers in here? Go check it out!
04:23 - 04:34 Bill hangs pink flagging by the Slidedown Trail sign to help it be more visible to people coming to hike the trail.
04:34 - 05:53 Bill and Nova cut and move branches and fallen trees that are blocking the beginning portion of the trail. They plan to go back at some point and do more work on the trail. Harley helps by walking the trail. Gotta keep it packed down!
05:54 - 06:03 Bill changes a snowmobile/ATV sign by simply pulling one of the arrows off. What a quick and easy change!
06:03 - 06:08 Harley peeks through an old, squished culvert at Nova on the other side.
06:09 - END Nova told Bill he should drive the truck over her phone (which a lot of this footage is filmed on), so he did! This is the shot, which is pretty interesting, complete with credits rolling!
