- At our other property getting some logs for the mill. We love our mill! The mud room in the cabin still needs to be finished along with baseboards in the bedrooms.

Our neighbor bought a saw mill. Hoping to mill up lumber for the barn next summer. We have so many trees. We don’t have any ponderosa pine on our property but loads of hemlock, red fir and cedar. It’s so satisfying seeing all of that freshly milled lumber.
We have had a bunch on the ground work done. We had a dozer come in to cut in a road and work on the housesite. It’s transforming up there. I’ll be posting a video later today of the dozer work.
Any luck on hunting? We still haven’t gotten anything. Hope to hit it hard here soon. Need some meat for the freezer. I’m still chugging along in the carnivore diet.

It really is satisfying, I love it. We have saved a lot of money this way. I'll be looking out for your video. Looks like you guys got your septic put in. That's exciting. No luck on hunting. It gets dark so early now. The boys were going to go out this weekend, but we really needed to harvest our pig. He was a big guy. Hope you guys are able to get out and get it done 😀 Good for you sticking with the diet. My husband has cheated a couple of times, but overall, he's doing really well. He'll probably never change back to the old way of eating. I do intermittent fasting and eat whatever I want for dinner mostly. Haha, you probably did see him! Next time, say hi Robert!
