I Took Advance DAX course on Udemy from Maven 2 years back and as expected these people are doing great job. Keep up the good work guys. 👏
Wow made my table soooo much better
As is customary with all of Maven's (particularly Chris's) works, this one more than lives up to their exalted standards! Succinct yet comprehensive illustration of a fairly advanced concept!! A million thanks!!
Thanks Vishwanath! You are too kind :)
Thank you So much .
Thanks Chris! Great quick tip. Thanks for sharing. Thumbs up!!
Glad you enjoyed it Wayne!
Great timing! I came across a similar problem today while solving this months challenge. I created a column and used formula to do the job, but this definitely makes it much easier! Thank you very much!😃😃
We've done the same thing manually plenty of times Amrita! Bucketing manually isn't too bad, but this definitely make it even easier :)
Very Useful tip
Chris, you are the best! I am currently learning your Pivot table course on Udemy, and feel blessed to have this value addition tip. Many thanks for your precious effort.
Thank you Chirag! Happy to hear you appreciate our efforts here. We will keep it up :)

Glad it was helpful!
Great piece of advice here! I was struggling just the other day with a similar issue! Will give it a shot! Maven content is always top notch!
You should Marco. Practice makes perfect!
Great tip. Thank you
Glad to hear it’s useful!
Great method and video, thanks.
Thanks Joe! Glad you enjoyed this one.
A really great feature. Just used it myself but then struggled to be able to ungroup again for other groupings. A cache kind of Challenge. Unable to figure that one out.
Great fan. Purchased some of your Udemy classes and It was really good.
Thanks for being a student Joshua! And for taking the time to write a nice comment.
Chris - you're content is superb. Thanks for teaching me so much about Power BI and Excel (I've completed 2 Udemy courses as well as watched several of these videos!)
If you keep watching them, we'll keep making them Nicholas!
Appreciate you being a part of our courses and taking the time to leave a nice note. The encouragement helps!
@@MavenAnalytics I just got a call this morning from my boss. Out of the blue, I'm basically getting a promotion because of the Power BI reports I've put together the last year or two. They want me to take what I've done and re-create across the whole vertical -- many thanks to you and Aaron!
@@nicholasgarofalo8804 amazing! Congratulations! You should talk with Aaron about this. I bet he would love to interview you about the experience if you’re up for it.
@@nicholasgarofalo8804 PS - would you mind us sharing your comment on social? These are the inspiring stories we love hearing and sharing. Keep up the great work!
@@MavenAnalytics Hey Chris - I'd love to chat with Aaron! What's the best way to get in touch with him? And yeah I don't really use socials, but I can put a tweet out so that it can be seen publicly.🤙
May I get the raw data file to practice with ?
Hi, an interesting problem I am having. The pivot table that I have set up is updated from a table, which is automatically updated from a report in Salesforce. When the Pivot Table updates, it removes the grouping by Quarters that I have set for the date. Is there a way to ensure that the grouping is not removed when the Pivot Table updates?
i try this, but the Excell keep popup error message "cannot group that selection". any advice please?
