Oh the ivory white is perfection and witj her lovely long hair, so dreamy, and i dont WANT to say gothic but im getting that it is her own version of Vampire Wife Vibes, crossed with Earth Mother and Dont Mess With Me lol!

Rewatched all the tailoring ones yesterday! Such good ideas! My dry cleaner has a wonderful tailor! This makes me able to have a great many things fixes for my crazy figure. Then you wear things more because they fit.

Thank you. I'm a man and your video has inspired me to get a better look at my wardrobe and re-imagine wearing some of the older items in the wardrobe. Buying new garments is easy, but applying some creativity is even more interesting and sparks curiosity.
I agree the cashmere coat and skirt need to be shortened
I absolutely love you in the cream and black dress! The contrast of the black takes away any problem with the color. I would not sell it! Wear it! You know enough makeup tricks to make it work! I think it’s the best thing, by far, that you wear in this video.
I love the dress also. However if doesn’t give you joy imagine how much joy it will give a person who suits the color better? How many can afford a Valentino dress? Although I thought it looked great in your outfit of the day, perhaps it is time to let it go. After all it is not a Serena Butte! 💕

There is a local lady here who has done some alterations for me, taking up trousers, and made an old dress into a ra ra skirt. Just to prove I am also hem I’ve taken up on old black dress from too long to knee length. Definitely didn’t do such a good a job as her, but I can sew basic alternations. Enjoy! 😘

Trinny, I bought silicone shoulder pads on Amazon that stick to my skin and no matter how much I move and dance, they do not fall off. They give me the shoulders I don’t have and bring my shape into a sharper hourglass. This also means my big round boobs are not as prominent.
Ooh do you have a link to these shoulder pads? Sounds like something I'd love in my wardrobe.

These have inspired me. I’ve put aside two jacket, one to replace the buttons that make it feel old ladyish, the other to fix up the pockets. Oh, and some jeans to take up into knee length shorts before spring really gets going.

I wish I had an Azucena in my life! I do most of my own alterations, but I’m not expert. Over 20 years ago, I took a bridesmaid dress to be shortened, and they charged me an incredible $75 US to just hem it with a crappy overlock stitch, like that used inside cheap garments, I was embarrassed to wear it. I’m so tired of just hemming pants, for one thing. It’s not difficult, but it is tedious. I also have to take in the shoulders of neatly everything. So, items to be altered back up in my sewing room, sometimes for half a year, because it’s too hot to sew there in our 5-6 month summers. I just yesterday finished altering a linen dress that I really needed these last few months, and am going to iron it this morning. My expert sewing teacher, my Mom, recently died and I miss her terribly, and not just for sewing together, we always had so much fun together.
🥺 So very sorry for your loss. Hope your memories bring you comfort. I was devastated💔 when my mom died, & still miss her 22 years later. She was a talented designer & tailor too, so I was spoiled by her creativity. You're fortunate your mother was able to teach you some of those skills.
😔Sadly I did not learn my mom's sewing 🪡secrets, but I inherited her sewing machines & supplies🧵. I had a horrible home ec teacher in Jr High too that expected you to learn by osmosis. Thankfully, they have much better teachers online today.
🤔Tried some simple hand sewn alterations, but determined to do more. YT influencers like Addy @ Well Loved give me confidence too. No desire to become some expert. Just tweak a garment to suit me better w/o costing a fortune💰.
✨️Azucena is a prize✨️. Like almost everything else, tailoring service is pretty 💸costly in LA, esp. for what you get.
🧺 Sometimes our "to do" baskets over flow. Someone once told me that procrastination is a form of perfectionism. We put off tasks to tomorrow that which we feel we cannot do perfectly today. This certainly fits the bill for me.
Sometimes you just have to plunge in on tasks you've been avoiding. Figure all my sewing progress is to be celebrated🥳. Trust me, no one will be looking 👀 that closely to stitches as long as something is hanging right, and makes you feel good🤗.

Azucena is a miracle worker! I love how the two of you have reimagined the clothes that you weren't wearing. The only comment that I will make is that the burgundy maxi-length skirt and matching coat are the perfect length. I feel that if you shorten them, they will lose their special elegance. I would really love to see close up how Azucena adds side panels to the trousers and dress. As a pear-shaped figure myself, that is where my clothes feel tight if I put on weight or bloat. Thank you.

I personally love the shiny jumpsuits as there are, with the slouchy sleeves. Cutting them and adding big shoulder pads is a mistake in my opinion, will look like a space costume from Star Trek.

Yes, yes, a million times yes! Alterations and flips completely change the clothing from blah to brilliant. Sometimes the item just needs a little tweak like adding a small shoulder pad or adding a strategically placed dart to make it fabulous.
Every time I watch your videos I feel like buying a neon yellow sweater but it's impossible to find it seems! 💛 It's funny because I've been altering so many clothes that weren't right lately...game changer!

On the black and ecru dress - the outer layer doesn't fall properly - the facing is popping out. It looks like it was meant to lay flat against the black. Good choice to sell!

Trinny, I have corrected yellowing using purple shampoo. If you use a small amount of purple it should return to white. If you use too much it starts to go towards oyster.

😔Am a neutral skin tone too, and find that anything off white is NOT my best color either. 😉However, you look absolutely 🌟 spectacular 🌟 in that elegant two tone dress. 📖 This is a keeper in my book.
🤔 I implore you to employ your bag of tricks to fool the eye👁 that you're always mentoring the Trinny Tribe on:
(1) Do a clever or more dazzling application of your make-up💄 . Something that would brighten your countenance in that glamorous gown.
(2) Pull your hair up in a soft updo & add some sensational sparkly ▪️black▪️ statement earrings that will also bring back more vivacity to your face.
(3) 😖 If you hate the neckline, how about adding a sheer black chiffon insert panel that goes up to the top (turning it into a crew neck of sorts). That way you still get the elongating effect of the V, but you also get the higher neckline you prefer. Plus, you'll bring more of that dramatic black coloring right up to your face.

Trinny I have been wondering if you choose all natural fabrics for tops and pants. Of course they're ideal but if you found a great pair of trousers made in a synthetic fiber would you buy them? I think with your white outfit, the textures throw me off, I have to really stare at it to make a decision. I love the idea of shortening the top but you should wear a white petticoat underneath to hid the skin from showing when you turn your body!

I’m just gonna say this: a vampire’s wife dress sets you back £1000 or close enough and then it shrinks at the dry cleaners????? WTAF? If I could manage to afford a dress like that I’d be really flipping cranky if it shrank at first clean. Especially when I don’t happen to have an Azucena in my back pocket.
