I have one *gtdupe* bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze..
I really dislike the negative context in which the word basic is used these days. So if I’m not wearing thousands of dollars on my body, feet and handbag then I’m basic. I would rather compliment another woman and uplift her no matter how inexpensive her outfit or handbag is. We need more of that in this world gone mad than putting others down based on their appearance. Either be of some help or sthu!
Literally went to the LV store on a whim after shopping at Bloomingdale’s. My husband had said he was going to eventually buy me the Neverfull once he got his bonus. We saw the bag and said thank you to the advisor but I’m not taking it just wanted to see it in person. My hubby says yes we will, I try to fight him. I got the bag last week so happy that it was meant to be. Hoping to get in stamped with my initials later this week.

Calling the Neverfull, and all the monograms basic at this point says more about them than anything else. Most people trashing Vuitton never had a Vuitton. Vuitton canvas is the most indestructible thing. It's practical.
It might be indestructible but in my opinion it's also very tacky. It screams "look at me". Don't get me wrong, I own two neverfull bags but I prefer bags that don't scream out the designer.
I love my Neverfull! It's the perfect throw and go. It fits notebooks, water bottles, everything. I have quite a few higher price point LV bags but I carry the Neverfull the most!
Honestly the best bag i own in my collection . I travel with the Neverfull Bag , and literally can fit a week worth of clothes in it . Perfect everyday bag , if you have kids , you can just chuck anything in it , and go .

I was even wondering if there was a sale no one told me about...... Too bad, I like this LV tote (GM version), wish I had it in every canvas variation. I’m so happy I have mine in all 3 sizes. The monogram NF pm is the cutest bag and fits a nice amount for everyday. Whenever I use it, I get so many compliments. The GM is the best for overnight and or travel and the MM is great as a work tote or if you like to carry more things on a day to day. I’m missing one in the azur which I was really hoping to get myself for Christmas but now I’m not too sure. I hate that they charge my credit card and it could be 6 /8 weeks or longer and I’m paying interest on that charge and have nothing to show for it. Would be nice if cards would be charged at the time of shipping. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us. 😊

Graceful yes, speedy and alma are classics, so I don’t see that coming. I think they are trying to reduce the presence of the neverfull…they are making it “hard to get”.

LV definitely pulled the bags (panic buying didn't clear them). I purchased a GM mono a few weeks ago. I was considering a MM azur and have been looking on the website. On Thursday, online store was almost fully stocked. LV pulled the stock sometime after that bc on Friday, when I was looking again, they had almost nothing and it was before the news hit.
Yes they do get inspiration from one another. And I hate when someone is unaware of this and says that the smaller brand copied the bigger brand when it’s the other way around. So annoying!
And prices on pre love market doesn't go up until they see people like this putting everybody in a panic about not having access to items and then they start raising their prices this is what people do this is what brings in the money and people do not care about other people suffering!

It hasnt aged yet, sorry pateena (is that how you spelled it?) anyways, i was looking at my neverfull and see some damages on the top leather of the bag. Is there a way to seek repair without bringing it into the store? I got a not so nice customer service from the boutique. And it sort of put me off from returning. Any advice?
Haters r gonna hate! The Neverfull is not and will never be "basic"! My 1st LV ever which I got back in 2010 was the NF Damier Azur. I have used and abused that bag and still looks like maybe I got it 2 yrs ago! I have the trifecta now, and love and use all 3 of them constantly! And I have a double flap Chanel, other Chanel flap bags or totes, I have several Fendi's and Gucci's, YSL etc.... along with several other LV's (speedy's, eva cltuch etc) Is like no matter what luxury brand handbags I have, these 3 Neverfulls, are in my rotation every week. I have been considering getting the black leather one, I didnt. TYFS and for the valuable information! 😘
I walked into the LV store last Thursday and purchased a MM in Damier Azur straight away. No wait listing etc but maybe I was lucky. It’s also still available to purchase online here in the UK so I guess these are just rumours 😅😊

I'm just so glad I got mine over 3 years ago as a wedding gift to myself. I just love it. ❤ I now regret not buying the mini Pochette Accessories and the key Cles when I had the chance and at a lower pay point than today. It sucks as it's such a vintage piece, especially the LV monogram.
I have a question about LV bag. One of my white canvas LV bags got a crack how can I fix it? LV store said they can’t help because it on pice and they will have to replace entire bag which they not gonna do. I spend lots of money on that bag 15 years ago. And I did not use it much. Please help :)

I saw the neverful with the braiding on it on the website. Maybe that's what's replacing the old one? They have it priced at 2.5 k, prob because of the braided strap
I actually like the one with the braided strap online , I never bought before bc I like to have the flexibility/versatility that a strap brings for an everyday bag. Only thing holding me back was that it was $2500… but I also know LV straps usually cost $500+ and that’s if they’re canvas… so it’s not necessarily “overpriced” in that aspect. I just don’t know if the fact ir has a strap will make it look weird when wearing bc it does have so little structure and is so floppy- I’m thinking of buying and picking up in store so I can inspect quality/craftsmanship etc… they’re going to raise the price of the canvas version Irregardless AND come out with a new tote with leather that they can up charge with. I’m not a fan of the on the go, not sure why, but it’s never appealed to me. On the other hand, gucci has some great totes in canvas that have brown, black and white color ways… and that would be a possible alternative. I think they’re under 2k too. I was already feeling in a conundrum bc the one with a braided strap is seasonal and wasn’t sure how long it would stick arnd for, but now I’m feeling more of the squeeze. Ugh 🤦♀️ smh Hate how they do that crap. And it’s all abt the money- then don’t pay SA’s cr@p for doing all the work. So frustrating. I only want canvas from LV. Mayyyybe If I wanted an everyday SLG in thick coated/ textured leather, I’d maybe consider getting something in epi from them, (bc I know it holds up), but theure not going to make fetch happen! I have a random question. I bought the neverfull years ago from an actual LV store. When I got home from the store I realized they didn't give me a box with it. I just had it in the dust bag inside of the LV shopping bag. I didn't make a big deal of it bcuz i love the bag and planned on keeping it. However I came across a post recently that said if you don't have the box for an LV bag it is not worth as much if you were to sell it 🤷♀️ I definitely don't plan on selling but my question is, is it normal for them to have not given me a box? Kind of makes me wonder if they did it bcuz it wasn't as "expensive" as the other bags. 😏 please can u let me kno. I thought I would ask since u mentioned you worked there before. I just bought online the customized neverfull. I noticed all others are sold out. I didn’t want the plain one anyway but they are not Hermes come on stop with the games.
I’ve never been a fan of the neverfull because I’m more of a top handle girl and I prefer the speedy bag from lv but this is nothing but greed from lv and I’m over it I will buy my last few bags from them and be done thank you always for the information because everyone is putting out content explaining why lv is making this move putting out false information and speculations 😅
Thanks for the info I wouldn’t spend that type of money for a bag plus there are great trendy totes like the longchamp that are much better and more affordable I had the small bucket tote and only used it once and I sold it because some friend said it was the it bag that was years ago before the never fall came out in 2007 ! Bags like lv and Hermes are vanity pieces and not having them doesn’t make you any less as important then anyone who has them that’s just my own opinion !
There is a few bags from LV, they do the same function, but at least they have two straps and zipper closer. For example Estrella (discontinued but available on preloved), why it must be exactly Neverfull… I am sure there are some new models as tote bags, but with zipper!😂
If Goyard is soo good and is waaaay older than the NF, why is NF the most copied and had the widest reach? Oh yeah, Bec it has that shape that just right for a tote, not too flimsy not too structured, certainly not perfect but its so functional that I ended up getting 2. It's the most hated 'basic' bag but why some get replicas bec duhh obviously they like the logo and the design. Im cool with this new set up I think it is more sustainable. Besides its available in diff collections.
true the Goyard one is meant to be a light beach bag. the neverfull can take abuse. also if people want an "under the radar" brand, Fauré Le Page's daily battle is prettier and sturdier than Goyard Saint Louis. the quality is similar to LV neverfull, but no one knows what it is, which is the other side of the coin... the neverfull is recognizable, and admittedly you are privy to better treatment when you carry something people know about, "basic" or not.
Daily Battle is a good alternative but the price has Skyrocketed past few years. I backed off & am still pondering. FLP wants to compete with NF I’m sure but, ugh. At some point it’s just a floppy tote people. I love my Longchamp. I’m good.

Longchamp is very reasonable and still chic! I want a pink one. Trying to get away from more totes, but if I see one it's on!

Neverfull is the perfect everyday bag. It's lightweight, roomy, very comfortable to use. It goes w/ a dress or with pants.
I wanted the neverful for my first purchase but I was eyeing the speedy 25. I wouldn’t mind a neverfull now. However I’m too in love with my Noe GM.

And I have a double flap Chanel, other Chanel flap bags or totes, I have several Fendi's and Gucci's, YSL etc.... along with several other LV's (speedy's, eva cltuch etc) Is like no matter what luxury brand handbags I have, these 3 Neverfulls, are in my rotation every week. I walked into the LV store last Thursday and purchased a MM in Damier Azur straight away. No wait listing etc but maybe I was lucky. It’s also still available to purchase online here in the UK so I guess these are just rumours 😅😊

I'm just so glad I got mine over 3 years ago as a wedding gift to myself. I just love it. ❤ I now regret not buying the mini Pochette Accessories and the key Cles when I had the chance and at a lower pay point than today. It sucks as it's such a vintage piece, especially the LV monogram.
I have a question about LV bag. One of my white canvas LV bags got a crack how can I fix it? LV store said they can’t help because it on pice and they will have to replace entire bag which they not gonna do. I spend lots of money on that bag 15 years ago. And I did not use it much. Please help :)
Can't be fixed. They don't repair canvas. That's considered "wear and tear" too, so after 15 years, they aren't doing anything.

I saw the neverful with the braiding on it on the website. Maybe that's what's replacing the old one? They have it priced at 2.5 k, prob because of the braided strap

I actually like the one with the braided strap online , I never bought before bc I like to have the flexibility/versatility that a strap brings for an everyday bag. Only thing holding me back was that it was $2500… but I also know LV straps usually cost $500+ and that’s if they’re canvas… so it’s not necessarily “overpriced” in that aspect. I just don’t know if the fact ir has a strap will make it look weird when wearing bc it does have so little structure and is so floppy-
I’m thinking of buying and picking up in store so I can inspect quality/craftsmanship etc… they’re going to raise the price of the canvas version Irregardless AND come out with a new tote with leather that they can up charge with. I’m not a fan of the on the go, not sure why, but it’s never appealed to me.
On the other hand, gucci has some great totes in canvas that have brown, black and white color ways… and that would be a possible alternative. I think they’re under 2k too.

I have a random question. I bought the neverfull years ago from an actual LV store. When I got home from the store I realized they didn't give me a box with it. I just had it in the dust bag inside of the LV shopping bag. I didn't make a big deal of it bcuz i love the bag and planned on keeping it. However I came across a post recently that said if you don't have the box for an LV bag it is not worth as much if you were to sell it 🤷♀️ I definitely don't plan on selling but my question is, is it normal for them to have not given me a box? Kind of makes me wonder if they did it bcuz it wasn't as "expensive" as the other bags. 😏 please can u let me kno. I thought I would ask since u mentioned you worked there before. Thanks for the info I wouldn’t spend that type of money for a bag plus there are great trendy totes like the longchamp that are much better and more affordable I had the small bucket tote and only used it once and I sold it because some friend said it was the it bag that was years ago before the never fall came out in 2007 ! Bags like lv and Hermes are vanity pieces and not having them doesn’t make you any less as important then anyone who has them that’s just my own opinion !

There is a few bags from LV, they do the same function, but at least they have two straps and zipper closer. For example Estrella (discontinued but available on preloved), why it must be exactly Neverfull… I am sure there are some new models as tote bags, but with zipper!😂

If Goyard is soo good and is waaaay older than the NF, why is NF the most copied and had the widest reach? Oh yeah, Bec it has that shape that just right for a tote, not too flimsy not too structured, certainly not perfect but its so functional that I ended up getting 2. It's the most hated 'basic' bag but why some get replicas bec duhh obviously they like the logo and the design. Im cool with this new set up I think it is more sustainable. Besides its available in diff collections.
true the Goyard one is meant to be a light beach bag. the neverfull can take abuse. also if people want an "under the radar" brand, Fauré Le Page's daily battle is prettier and sturdier than Goyard Saint Louis. the quality is similar to LV neverfull, but no one knows what it is, which is the other side of the coin... the neverfull is recognizable, and admittedly you are privy to better treatment when you carry something people know about, "basic" or not.
Daily Battle is a good alternative but the price has Skyrocketed past few years. I backed off & am still pondering.
FLP wants to compete with NF I’m sure but, ugh. At some point it’s just a floppy tote people.

I like having a bag that I don’t see everywhere but def glad I bought the 2 NFs when I did(this was after the price increase too). I got the Damier Ebene and Azur in the MM size.
