First quality mtb I acquired was a Scott Scale, easily covered around 5000 miles on her, been serviced and looked after more than my cars, so many awesome memories and still have her now...what a machine......
Had my '23 Scale RC since January, sits alongside a heavier trail bike..... I havent touched my gravel bike once since the Scale arrived! Fast and light for longer mixed and off road rides, and a spot of racing. Love it.
Dude I love my Scale too! Its so simple but so satisfying. Its greed for speed gets me in a rush every time I ride it! Riding bikes is the best thing in the world!
Whenever I haven't used my Scale for a longer time, but did a lot on my Scale, I think of selling the Hardtail. Until I jump on it and get again and again impressed how incredible fast and lightweight my Scale is. Can't stop smiling!!!! Fantastic Bike! Great Video Scotty!
Using the same summer tyre set up. Works well for gravel and light trail. Hans Dampf / Nobby Nic for winter. Love my hardtail. Would easily upgrade to this.
My first and only proper MTB is a 2018 Scott scale 910. I'm riding mellow trails and it works perfectly, sometimes Im wishing for a full sus but I think I'm gonna stick with the hard tail for the forseable future, until I sharpen my riding skills.
The hardest part was locating the path for the start of it but brilliant loop and stunning scenery. I've never descended Glen Finglas that way, was brilliant!!
Pretty much, I was missing a couple of parts to get her really dialled in and the weather tbh wasn't the best so yeh, it finally all aligned and was worth the wait - what a day out. Looking forward to many more on her.
@@ScottyLaughland Can you change 100 mm fork to 110mm or you can only change 120 to 110 mm? Love this video with hardtail. More hardtail or gravel (Y) :).
Was this a video review of a scott scale bike or you having fun riding around? More like a blog of you doing bicycle stuff than a real review. Not a single closeup of the bike? 😂

That's a good number, looking forward to doing the same on mine and getting more acquainted with her!

Too right! I'm loving this bike, can't wait to get more miles in on it!!

As always, beautiful scenery and editing.
Just makes me want to live there.
Epic.
Cool bike, gear and rider helps too 😉
Thanks man, appreciate the comment and support!
Nice skills on a hard tail without dropper!
Love my 940 carbon one... Enjoy every single moment riding it
Stoked to hear it! 🙌

Awesome cool bike lovet

How was the Coffe ?????
Very nice vidéo, as always
I've had better but in the moment it was perfect! Haha!
Hey Scotty, wicked build and ride is your fox 34 120mm? Cheers
That's one of my favourite loops - the push up Glen Buckie / Calair is a stiff one though.
The hardest part was locating the path for the start of it but brilliant loop and stunning scenery. I've never descended Glen Finglas that way, was brilliant!!
Is there a GPS for this route anywhere?
I have a Scott Scale 960 for 12 years and ride almost every day. Don’t believe I would ever replace my special friend
Hell yeh! Stoked to hear it!!
I dont suppose you would be kind enough to share a GPX of the route you did please? It looks a truely amazing ride! Thanks.
i love to see you ride more xc hardtails don´t have to much whit bigger travel bikes
Scotty reviewing Scott in Scotland.
Didn’t the build video for this come out like 6 months ago? And this is the first ride?!?!

What shorts are you wearing here Mr. Scotty? Is it just some trainer shorts or a MTB specific short too?
I think they're gravel, not too sure tbh as I've had them a couple of years now but they're a in between baggy and lycra fit!
Don't you find the manual fork lockout inconvenient on an XC bike?
Not massively but in all honesty I’d thought I ordered a fork with bar lockout!
I'm in the same situation, I'm undecided between putting a remote or not on my XC hardtail and your feed was very important :)😊
Is this Fox 34 100 mm travel?
Yes it is!

A classic snack
Where is this location?
Started in Callander for a loop around the Trossach’s!
Thank you Scott. Do you have a Strava account?
What do you think about Specialized Epic HT vs Scott Scale? :P
Hello~ where is speed?😅
12 speed!
@@ScottyLaughland Nooo mate! haha

Not a review as obviously a SCOTT ambassador but also sharing some thoughts whilst riding it about where it fits and how it rides!
