This is the first tiny house tour I have seen where I don't feel anxiety from the space being too "closed in". I absolutely love it.
This instantly became one of my favorites from hundreds of tiny homes I have seen on youtube. No crawl bedroom, lots of natural light, ample storage, an actual living room and good size kitchen and bathroom. I'd copy this I swear and I'm going to watch it like 50 more times.
I don't think I'll do 50 but definitely a few more. It's a real charmer, and the owner is such a pleasant man.

For myself, the issue with tiny houses has always been the sleeping loft. This house is perfection! Granted, it is bigger than the traditional idea of a "tiny house" but what a great compromise. I could move in there tomorrow! Thank you for the tour!
Leave the word "sleeping" off the loft, they are only good for storage!
I could live happy in this home. The added plus was having the bedroom on the main floor and full size bath. At age 60 my mind thinks I'm 20 but my body tells me I'm old. Love this home.
Everyday, I'm reminded that I'm NOT 22 anymore.....
I'm always attracted to the " look" of the loft... then I think... but you have to use those steps WAY too much! Lol... i

Feels so much more like a traditional home. I love the real furniture instead of a built-in "sofa". No loft to squeeze yourself into. Even a desk area. This is great!

Yes! The extra width makes all the difference. 384 square feet = perfect as opposed to 184 square feet with ladder or steps to coffin height sleeping space = absolutely not! I refuse to sleep anywhere with less than a yard of space above me. Slightly claustrophobic.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. I love this one. I'd have everything I am wanting. The only thing I would change would be having a double kitchen sink.
I love this tiny house! The kitchen is a decent size, 12-ft width makes ALL the difference, real sofa, first floor bedroom, washer & dryer, TUB is a must!, really nice size bathroom for a tiny, bed you can walk around, excellent storage, high ceilings, and even an office area! This really is a perfect retirement home.
An extra few feet doesn't *sound* that huge but man it is in practice.
Full sized rooms for one. God Bless the designer. I don't like being so closed in. But I do need to have good periferal bounderies for ballance. Age does have limitations sometimes. Unfortunately. But freedom is important too.

Smarter Than You Very true. Lots of people are fine without a tub. I’ve been surprised how many homes I’ve seen where the bathroom remodel removed the tub and put in a large shower. I cannot do without one, though, as daily soaks in epson salts reduce pain for me. Greatly improves my quality of life. Many Blessings to you. 🙏🏻💜👼🏻✝️😇
Beautiful SINGLE-story home! I bought a mobile home with cash when I retired for about 36K. I live in a beautiful community in Washington State on a nice lot and have so much nature to explore. Congrats to this older gentleman for finding what works for you! I find it interesting that people think tiny homes are cool but they cost 3 or 4 times more.
He is a very nice man - and the way he talks and the tone of his voice is telling me he'd tell some very interesting stories of what life can bring to you ...all the best !

I'm wheelchair bound and I hadn't EVER seen one that had even the possibility of halls a little wider, no lofts, and a kitchen with an island that was seriously multifunctional. Plus having a very pretty and inviting exterior. And now this. It gives me hope. What a wonderful NEW Year gift.

Some of us older viewers from the south may remember the old "shotgun" houses. They were usually about 9' wide and about 30' long with 3 rooms {living room, bedroom and kitchen). I always thought I could happily live in such a space.
I like how he kept the same color blue scheme throughout his home. His was a good size and not claustrophobic. Moreso, I appreciated his honesty that tiny living may not be for everyone! So true! He has a storage space for all his other belongings 🤣 I heard that!!

Rare design I could actually live in. Lots of storage which is so important and so often forgotten by people who apparently don't have any clothes to hang up. Love this one! Doesn't even look small.

I always wanted a one level tiny house, having a loft bedroom/living room is a no for me, but this house hands down will live there. Just add a deck space to be outside. :]♡
I am 73 & now live alone. Desire to live in my own one more HOUSE, rather than Senior apt. Tho also limited funds to do so even in Small town Country area (love & prefer), quieter & less stress area w/simple pleasures! I have been watching every tiny home, RV, í, etc... for affordable shelter, for over a year, on my phone. This is the closest one yet to meet requirements I must have, all on the same level & yet able to take care of alone, w/extensive health & financial consideration. Thank You for this tour w/Mr owner & resident for sharing his time, knowledge & features of this shelter for & how is working best for him, as a full time elder resident & Caretaker himself. And I've seen a particular style of tiny house on TH-cam that was built for a senior in Australia (or New Zealand). I think the lady's daughter had it built, and it was a really cute one story, with convenient amenities.

@@RW-nj8wr Exactly what I was going to say. I live in a vintage 12' wide trailer though being 40' long allows for a second bedroom. There are bump outs on both bedrooms and the livingroom but my son and I still would have been quite comfy the past 20 years even without them. I've never considered this a tiny house, just a small trailer, and I love it!
It has a floor area of less than 400 sq ft which is what I think they mean by calling it a tiny home (384 sq ft is what this is)

Looks small from the outside, but the reality is that it's HUGE on the inside! Hands down the nicest, fully functional Tiny House I've seen. He's rather nice, too.... :-))))))

This is a beautiful tiny house you can stand all over bedroom downstairs great.As you get older it becomes a problem climbing stairs and not being able to stand in your bedroom. It is very nice well designed.

I would not fit in a tiny home, but my son just might. So I enjoy watching them. But so many times, they just give an incomplete feel. This gracious gentleman and his very nice home was such a pleasing watch!

I love your home. It lives so spacious. I was seriously amazed when I heard the dimensions. The bedroom and bathroom are wonderful, with plenty of space to walk around the bed and that ginormous hanging closet. This is pretty high on my list of workable tiny home plans that would work for me and my needs. TfsTFS.

Beautiful home, the only thing I would miss is a dishwasher and a little more kitchen cabinets. Like the full size appliances and the separate washing machine and dryer. Nice that it is all electric and that the bedroom is on the 1st level. Even the door nobs are nice. Looks great.

First , Great video, lovely small home! But what all these showings don't tell us is what's the final costs ,the property taxes if any? Where's the park s for the house or zone areas on & on & on make a in-depth look for us that are serious about this step in are life but everything 💯 laid out where is that information

I lived on a 46 foot motor yacht, a floating "tiny house". Boats are famous for having lots and lots of hidden storage. I was very happy and would still be living there if I hadn't been laid off from my job.

Some of these furniture are AMAZING. The little table with his phone under the clock and the small cabinet next to the sink in the bathroom are sooo beautiful.
Very very nice layout. Finally a tiny house that feels like a little apartment. As well the man was clever enough to understand that isn’t a good idea to fill up a tiny space with too many furnitures. I would still make a few improvement such as a sectional couch, get rid of the tV stand and place the screen on the wall. This would give further space and would as well make look the room even wider. Eventually a couple of shelves over the TV would give space for books. As well I would put an extendable round dining table instead of the square one. Round tables gives more sitting area and occupies less space. Visually they are even better for tiny spaces. Lastly, I would hang nice well chosen paintings on walls to give warmth. Lighting also are crucial for warmth, cosines and decor.
Other than that, really nice, realistically livable space even if tiny.
When I was young we just called them mobile homes.
what a gr8 practical layout. I could totally live in this place. Everything a single person or many couples would need and easy to keep clean and tidy.

Closet, fans, A/C unit. You are right about the outside storage shed for all your extra things. Dog looks cozy! Also like your blue Jeep Wrangler and your ironed jeans. Billings, MT...Howdy!🤠
