One of my old favorite spots. Easily accesible, and the bottom changes depending on how far you go towards the point. I never caught anything at Pips, but I liked just being there where generations of fishermen had worked the Canal.
Enjoy the Rips! The Stripers will be always lurking for some easy dinner of a bait fish confused in the rips. If you go this weekend "Good Luck" I heard bait fish have been moving in. Hopefully a good July.
