I said it before last time, but out of all characters, Henry has the best backstory, and he definitely deserves to have a movie expanding upon it.
I also loved that Fat Controller intro. I suppose he's been brought back from the dead after All Engines Go caused him to die of cringe.

This was fantastic, it really sum up what Henry’s past was and the message this movie brings is a really good one. You should never miss a chance and you should take it for all it’s got. Great Movie Mr Ryan and have a great day.

Such a masterpiece! So heartwarming, exciting, and suspenseful. All of the voice actors were amazing, and I loved every character! Hurricane’s reveal was such a great twist and I loved seeing him as a terrible but also somewhat sympathetic villain, makes me think that his true plan in JBS was to trap the engines there to scrap them. Of course the soundtrack and effects were fantastic too, just a phenomenal movie in general! What a finale for your channel.

Having said that though, why didn’t hurricane scrap Frankie? By this logic she’s a ‘new engine that threatens the old.’ Diesels replaced more steam engines than the newer classes of steam engines ever did.

Absolutely amazing what you've done with your "models"! I loved the movie as it showed extreme creativity! I kind of compare it to Andrew Brenner's first movie as they both show how they have a good start for a movie with amazing intentions! I don't think "Henry" was perfect, as the story felt like it was paced a bit awkwardly, and some of the dialog felt a bit strange, but the story was cohesive, followable, and enjoyable! The new characters were great, and the pre-existing ones felt like an improved version of their originals. Overall I'd give this movie an 8.25/10 for the extreme creativity and passion you have put into this! I can't wait for more and hope this has made you more confident in your amazing talents!
@@CosmicOffical For your first project, let alone a fricken movie, all issues are more than excusable. It's people like you that keeps this community afloat with their passion projects that try so hard to portray what this Fandom is based on. I honestly think awdry would enjoy this more than something like JBS just because of the obvious effort and passion! I feel like at this point I'm ranting, but you did such a great job!

Poor Henry, went through all of this in his first few months of life. Explains why Henry is so brave and wise in the first 5 seasons
This was definitely worth the wait Mr Ryan. There aren't many stories about Henry's origins and even when they're are it's only brought up very briefly and then focus on Henry's overhaul and theories that accompany it for the majority of the story. With this film, it takes a bigger step. We get to see Henry's pre Sodor days as well him overcoming his problems. I liked the friendship he had with Hurricane which then lead to Hurricane revealing his true colours which I bet a lot of us didn't see coming. You can sympathize with him because of what happened to his sister and the fact the older generation of engines were being replaced with new ones, he did actually deserved what he got for what he did to Jonny. The bond Henry has with Jimmy is like a Grandfather and Grandson like one and Jimmy seemed to be more of a good friend as well as encouraging him to take the chance when it arises. I'm pretty convinced the Exiguo Antenna Strigilibus is a reference to the green eyed pirates from 'TUGS'. I love the glowing eye effect for them, how did you do that? Speaking of which, a number of the lighting is so beautiful like the sunsets and sunrises. The sets look amazing. I love the custom models, voice acting and the overall moral of taking chances no matter what. Overall a very solid film in my opinion. Very well done Mr Ryan.

I had a feeling Henry was named after the company that built him. In fact part of the name has the same beginnings letters as Henry.
I also like how you worked Hurricane's real life counterpart's history. Though I do question how Hurricane survived that fall, as well as how that 'weak track' didn't collapse under the weight. But those are very minor nitpicks and don't distract from how amazing this is.

It’s people like Mr. Ryan who inspire me to further develop the lore of my two series in the world of Thomas and Friends!
The first one is called Tales of Brighton and the second is a spin-off called BoCo & Derek!
TOB has nine seasons in order and B&D has four seasons planned out..
Also, My latter spin-off would focus on BoCo’s life before Sodor with characters like Sofie the Class 31. Russ the LNER Class J15 and Blair the Class 26 serving as old friends from BoCo’s pre-Sodor life!
Clarice the Great Eastern Coach would serve as a new friend to BoCo and Derek!

Someday I will yes, and let me tell quite a bit about my first main series the Tales of Brighton!
This series is centered on a group of preserved steam engines still working on the former London, Brighton and South Coast Railway; the old home of Thomas the Tank Engine!
the group of Brighton’s preserved steam engines are primarily known as the Brighton Bunch as in reference to them being all that remained of the former LB&SCR’s Steam Fleet!
The leading engine of the group is a humble and cynical Beattie Well tank engine named Frederick who, served as a shunting Partner to all the E2s including Thomas in his Prime…
However before and after nationalization, Frederick and the rest of the remaining engines of Brighton had to see off Thomas as he left for his new home the Island of Sodor.
In the years since Thomas left, Frederick and the Brighton Bunch would go through many events on their home railway and abroad throughout Europe.
Along the way both at home and Europe wide, Frederick would make plenty of friends and encounter a good share of enemies including some directly involved in the deaths of Thomas’s siblings!
And also, besides the prior events of BoCo’s life; after his time on Sodor will also be explored and what he was up to long after his last appearance…
Plus both my series will feature quite a sinister group of diesels and even a couple people in a organization called the Truculentus Sodalicium and they’re bent on ridding all diesels and vehicles who are friends with steam engines! And they wouldn’t mind in even taking human lives as well!
Along with this, I have many storylines that range from present day railway events to ancient lore to creepy and mysterious stories and to several Europe wide adventures…

This is absolutely amazing! I LOVE how you made the bad guys the ones who didn't want the older engines to be replaced. It's such a new twist that I've never seen anyone do before. This is very well-made and you should be very proud of your work!

I've especially wanted to mention that I personally learned that GWR studios found a theory that explained why Henry the Green Engine certainly did ACTUALLY INDEED have many problems in the past as he turned out to be an experimental design when he'd first been built, and especially since this video showing how Henry the Green Engine came into the world goes perfectly with that theory found by GWR studios!

Henry’s design, the idea of Hurricane being around when Henry was built is unique, and I love how you cleverly referenced flying kipper while Henry pulled Hurricane’s train
I may not be a Thomas the tank engine fan anymore but this was just beautifully handcrafted I like it when the fans make projects like this

This was a fantastic movie
God, what can I say about this... It's just... It's Breathtaking!! You've created a really transcendent experience here. It's visually stunning and very innovative, every shot pops and the colors are so vibrant and well chosen. Some of those morning shots during some of Henry's running sequences just took my breath away. The use of smoke effects elevates this so much too. But I think what is most striking about this is how utterly original it feels. Such a unique character selection; you could have set this in Henry's early days on Sodor, which would have been great too. But instead you decided to create a whole cast of characters from nothing, and I'm SO glad you did, because they're all so brilliant! I'm especially partial to Lorence; I love his monocle, his purple hue, and most of all his polite but also Snooty energy. Most importantly, you really tapped into Henry's vulnerability here, he's a highly sympathetic character but also one we can root for!
I just cannot overstate how refreshing this movie is. It feels truly cinematic. The way you marketed it, the way you've done such a gorgeous thumbnail (those big bold character name logos are killer!), and just the cinematography and score working together to make this experience feel, well... BIG! It's the type of production I'd LOVE to see more of in our community; Thomas has gotten to the age as a brand where it deserved blockbusters with depth and substance, which push the boundaries and have new things to say and new ideas to introduce! I'm definitely donating to your kickstarter, I REALLY want to see those three movies you have planned. I love your designs for the engines, too; your concept for Edward, much like your Henry, is so new and exciting. Those deep, vibrant colors with unique takes on the linework are such a departure from the show or even books, and yet feel SO much like these beloved characters with an exciting new spin!
FRESH is how I'd describe your work; keep doing your own thing, and going with your gut! My favorite thing about this is that it is DIFFERENT. Don't be too hard on yourself, and don't take ALL criticisms to heart. It's all well and good to take advice and suggestion, but for all the good intentions of commenters, remember this; YOU made a movie. They didn't. You're the director, and you can make the magic happen. You have a splendid vision; so run after it, and above all, do what you enjoy! Thanks for ushering in the modern Thomas fan blockbuster; let's make a trend of it, on your channel and everywhere else!

Henry is a stretched 4-6-2 version of the GNR 4-4-2 Atlantic with 2 extra driving wheels. Henry's extra length is his boiler is longer but the firebox is the same size as on the Atlantic...
I think Henry still looks like a prototype for the Great Northern A1 Pacific locomotives.
Wonderful work! I love the darker themes that are explored especially with Henry! Since he was actually depressed even when he was on sodor. It just shows that even a character with little backround can be explained in a story created by a brilliant individual

Because I wanted to see more of your TTTE memes videos. What a masterpiece mate! I really loved the models, the soundtrack, and the voice actors, really fantastic. I don't think anyone has done a backstory of Henry, so far this has got to be the greatest fan-made film I've watched!

This is BLOODY Fantastic. The Stop Motion, The OST, The Voice Acting and the Scenery are All amazing. The Moment in The Dark shed where the Engines Green Eyes Lit up gave me the Chills.

I've especially wanted to mention that I personally thought 'bout definitely recreating the experimental hybrid design that was the version of Henry the Green Engine from his heyday with some excellent modifications including a firebox that looks small on the outside when it's actually quite amazingly outstandingly BIG on the inside! In fact, it's completely obviously quite amazingly outstandingly easily clear that I'm personally gonna do it in honor of Sir Herbert Nigel Gresley WHILE NOT holding a grudge against him; which certainly would BASICALLY be exactly unlike what happened in 1919 when the unknown locomotive builder stole the plans for an experimental hybrid locomotive that were obviously designed by the famous locomotive designer from the L N E R known as Sir Herbert Nigel Gresley!
Wow, this was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Such jaw dropping sets, models and voice acting, this was an amazing movie from start to end, at moments I cried, laughed(especially at the end) and got happy, this movie is definitely one of the best Thomas Fan content I’ve ever seen, I really do hope you continue making these types of projects because it is BEAUTIFUL, I really did enjoyed the entire movie, fantastic movie Mr Ryan! This was well worth waiting for and it was amazing to finally see how it turned out.
It was quite emotional seeing Henry though is struggles, but it was a perfect vision to show his early days before joining Sodor.

I loved this movie! I loved the twist towards the end. When Jimmy was talking about Hurricane getting sold, I was feeling bad because I thought Henry pushed him to his doom with Jimmy being unaware, possibly even a bit senile, but Hurricane ended up being fine. I was beginning to wonder why Henry didn't seem super upset at first...
It was a nice, entertaining story and I didn't see much wrong with it at all! You should be proud of yourself. A fine accomplishment!

I finally had time to watch this! I was really impressed with the writing in this. The story flows well and the references and music fits so well with the events of the film. For a first film, this is one of the bests Thomas movies I have ever seen like the magic railroad parody ect. Great job to you and all the voice actors who did a splendid job.

Even though is not official, I like this backstory of Henry it make sense of how the problem occur, even though awdry was a good writer for his book, there sometimes his story left without context.

I feel like the best part of the film, is it’s villian. See, if this was any other movie, Henry would be the villian and Hurricane would be the good guy, but the idea of a villian that wants to persevere the past is great.

I wish I had been to the premiere (I slept, we had 5am). I've seen the movie, and I can say it's on the level of a real movie from a major studio (like Disney). I think this movie is even better than the adventure begins.

Absolute amazing film to watch!! The green eye engines appearing gave me a jump scare and hurricane being a villain was a nice twist in the end. Overall this film was a 10/10 for hard work, dedication, and cinematography. One question, who made the intro and outro scores?

I've especially wanted to mention that I personally just suddenly heard the unknown locomotive builder officially name the experimental hybrid locomotive that he basically built from the plans that he stole from Sir Herbert Nigel Gresley back in 1919 WHILE holding a grudge against Sir Herbert Nigel Gresley as Henry meaning this certainly was basically how the OFFICIALLY now well-known to be famous despite being a failure due to a small firebox that needed Special Welsh coal @ first!thanks to a specific rebuild @ Crewe from an experimental design to an official design of an L M S class 5MT Black Five steam-driven railway tender locomotive created in the year of 1934 by William Stanier with a certain 4-6-0 wheel configuration, exactly 2 cylinders, a working boiler pressure of exactly 225 PSI, a precise 6ft drive wheel diameter, and especially a certain approximately 80 MPH top speed known as Henry the Green Engine certainly came into the spotlight despite being a failure in his heyday!

In my current headcanon henry is a "privately built engine" owned boomer dad built and henry gave himself his name and then sold to the nwr only a few months after he was built
