About it's name, back in the day, ranch owners Corydon E. Cooley and Marion Clark decided to settle who’d keep their 100,000-acre ranch over a game of “Seven Up.”
After hours of back-and-forth, Clark finally threw down a challenge: “If you can show low, you win.”
Cooley flipped over the deuce of clubs-the lowest card possible-and said, “Show low it is.”
