Thank you for this lesson, I found it whorty. Despite the explanation was pretty clair, I have to desagree about labeling the cardinal points in every grafic question. In the given example, the speaker used right and left wheter she was giving direction based on a plan nor a map; it could be tricky to assumpt that the east is always pointing out the right, as it depends on if the observer is looking north or south. Otherwise, if the exercise is about a city map or similar, identify cardinal point must be necessary.

Hi there, If you are simply looking at the plan, the library office does appear to be on the left of the librarian's desk. However, the speaker takes you through the library as though you are actually walking through it. So, if you were standing in the room with the librarian's desk (and facing the desk), the office would be to the left of the desk. In any case, the wording of this specific sentence can be a bit confusing depending on how it is interpreted, and is probably why it was not explicitly used as a question. Hope this helps!
