Hard no to barrel jeans or rickets jeans as I think of them! As a 60+ no to leopard print and slip dresses. The latter looks like I'm wearing my nightwear! Loving the wine/burgundy and chocolate brown colours though. I'm into the stripes and chevron thing though.
Angie you have no idea how much i love your content. I originally found you looking for homeschool help for beginners but watch all your content and look forward to new videos. My husband basically knows you as well because i tell him alot of what I learn from you (homemaking/cooking). Keep up the great work, my far away youtube friend
Angela, I’ve NEVER commented on a YT video before. And trust me I’ve watched thousands of hours… this is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I just have to say BRAVO! Loved it! Your ensembles and style selections were amazing. I’m a little older than you and nowhere near your clothing size… 😉but I have every intention of checking out your links and shopping….!I’ve never done that before either!! Awesome!!thank you!
Angie, you look so beautiful in any outfit❤❤❤❤. You should definitely be a model for fashion for women over 35 ( not that you look over 35). I know you had a B-Day recently. Unfortunately, I am short and 73, a lot of the times not sure they would work for me. BUT, I really enjoyed this video so much I love your attitude ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this! You are making me take a second look at Target for fashion. While I definitely agree with the sentiment "wear what you like", it's helpful to know what's trending because that's what you're going to be seeing in the stores.
Great down-to-earth fashion trend recap!! My fave on you (besides the beautiful blue wrap shirt bringing out your eyes!!) Is the 90s throwback chocolate brown boatneck l/s top... and LOVE the way you styled the sage slip dress with the cozy cardi and THOSE BOOTS!!! (where are those from??) Newbie here (just this week) and really enjoying your content. Thank you!! 🤗😊xo
Hard No to Barrel legs here. I doubt this is a put it in your closet staple for seasons, more a flash in the pan oh that’s different kinda one season and to the thrift stores the next. So it’s a No for me on multiple levels.
Within the first two minutes you made me laugh out loud; that will always win my approval, so I subscribed. Very good inspiration using affordable pieces that everyone can afford even though I usually spend more for clothes that I find last longer.
I think the real rule to fashion is where whatever you want, whatever makes you feel good. Who gives a crap what magazines or celebs say, you do you and you will kill it!!!
High waisted Tapered barrel - NOT exaggerated barrel w slim fitting top and crop jacket will make your waist look smaller - just like flared and boot cut jeans do. I like my slight barrel cut jeans. They will be around for a few seasons - they wee also big last year. As long as they are not too exaggerated they are quite comfy and modern. Look nice with a whole variety of shoes including ballet flats and kitten healed sandals or even ankle boots it the hem covers over top of boot. They define my waist and I am tall/ straight and my hips are a little narrower than my shoulders - I love how barrels help me look more curvy🎉
COLOR ANALYSIS | Hey! I appreciate your personality, we'd be friends in real life haha :) Great style too! Have you ever had your "colors" done? I did my color analysis recently and I'm noticing it on others. I love your auburn hair but wonder if you're a "cool tone" and maybe burgundy, less orange undertones would enhance your features more? You're like my sister, wear what you like. But sometimes color theory is fun to play with!
Barrel jeans remind me of Mr. Tumnus, the faun, from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I’m pear shaped anyway so I don’t need to make my thighs appear any larger than they are. It’s a big no for me.
Just another way for them to get more money out of younger generations for the sake of “being on trend”. These designers have nothing truly new left to offer 🫠.
I love your vids but I almost didn’t click on it because I was worried you were gonna just sell me on Walmart. I’d love to see more lifestyle and personal goals of yours!
I'm a huge Target gal but I have a couple of sweaters and a pair of jeans I love from Walmart! Walmart has a lot of cute things this year. They've definitely upped their game!
Call me old but, animal print will always be a classic. Just not head to toe. The 'boiler jumpsuit' looks like what my grandpa wore to work. LOL I just couldn't.
Thank you for making this video Angela. As a bigger girl, I definitely need to be more careful about not looking frumpy in the fit of my clothes during the colder months. If I’m not careful, I’ll look like a sack of potatoes.
I think that clothes manufacturers try to shame customers into thinking the customer is "LESS than" if they do NOT buy (and wear) the "newest" "trends". UGH!!! Somehow, when one gets to a certain point in life (any age) one decides that for their body, certain styles ENHANCE their look, and some absolutely DESTROY their figures...I'm 5'2", so wearing wide-legged pants make me feel fatter and sloppier...so I will not wear them. Wear in what you feel the best, WITHOUT CHEAPENING yourself. Life should not be a "meat" market. You are UNIQUE already! Conduct yourself properly and wear what you like. Thanks for your videos.
The only problem with all these pretty autumn colors in clothing is as a cool toned person, I look terrible in them. So I'll have to stick to my winter color pallet.
Yes, I am a soft summer and don’t bother with any of the traditional autumn colors. I stick to very soft muted tones in my color palette and a lot of grey and taupe.
@CG-mj8tk it's called "color analysis" it's where you see what colors look best on you based on your skins undertone and features. A great TH-camr who does this is "Sarah Ryan the style coach"
Haha, who wants to look like a barrell? I won't wear loose baggy pants, hate the current trousers with pleats and wide legs. Thank goodness for straight legs. I think dresses are popular now because people don't want baggy pants, they add at least 25 pounds to your appearance. Hopefully designers think about more figure flattering styles next year. I am not buying anything "current" this year, just wearing what I have.
I get you don't like the barrel leg jeans, I don't either. That being said, there are a lot of people out there with naturally bowed legs (myself included). I know you didn't mean bad, but your comments about cowboys and horse riding did hurt a little.
I’m so happy chocolate brown is back, love it!
Barrel leg jeans will always make me think of cartoon characters
Haha… YES!
😂me too
They are just awful 😅😅
They almost look like denim jodhpurs. Bow legged cowboys. 😂
Hard no to barrel jeans or rickets jeans as I think of them! As a 60+ no to leopard print and slip dresses. The latter looks like I'm wearing my nightwear! Loving the wine/burgundy and chocolate brown colours though. I'm into the stripes and chevron thing though.
The barrel jeans dance! 😂 You're fun! 😊🤗
So agree with seeing fashion that we experienced in the 90's and 2000's coming back! Whaaatttt?! I'm here for some solidarity! ♥️
Hard pass on the barrel jeans but I love leopard print!

4:46 my gram wore leopard. It will never go out of style ❤

That burgundy skirt and pink top look so beautiful on you 😊
I agree with you about barrel jeans & i will not even try them
I LOVE barrel jeans and I think you look GREAT in them, especially the way that you styled them! 😍
I might be an odd man out here, but I miss my corduroy overalls from the 90's! I lived in them and my corduroy pants!
Yes! Let’s bring it back!
The mechanic suit looks really cute on you! Definitely checking out the clothes at target tomorrow and those mesh shoes! ❤

The wine skirt with the black top is such a beautiful outfit on you!

I'm a new subscriber, happy to get inspired already to get out of my style slump. Your hair is really pretty 😍

Good job Angela
I love the tuape gray with that green dress. ❤

If you have straight narrow hips the barrel adds a hint of curvy
The wide leather belt, tan or black, along with statement neckles or earings would work wiith the jumpsuit
Coach came out with a beautiful chocolate leather named maple. Highly recommend!
I love your hair and love your outfits ..love the satin slip dress I think every outfit is a winner in you. ❤❤❤
Maybe a tutorial on how you get you shirt collars to pop up and stay that way? They always look so nice.
I think the real rule to fashion is where whatever you want, whatever makes you feel good. Who gives a crap what magazines or celebs say, you do you and you will kill it!!!
Love the burgundy slip skirt
Where did you get the ivory draw string pant? I love them. Love your videos!
So many cute pieces! Those zip up overalls look like snow bibs, though. Just can’t. 😂
Oh no! I thought they were so cute, but now…I can’t unsee that. 😂
@@denisedorsey2889 sorry! 🙃 I can’t help it… I live in Montana.
I bought some barrel pants from banana republic at the beginning of the summer. They are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn
So cute! Love it all! Your half tucked in shirt always works. I look like a hobo when I try it lol.

Agree
Absolutely! That look is very modern/artsy/stylish. I have a pair that are just the tiniest barrel, and they really add interest to your outfit!

I tell my husband the exact same thing. I love her personality we would absolutely be friends in real life
Can you tell me where you got your crossbody bag that you wore with the leopard shoes?
Barrel jeans remind me of Mr. Tumnus, the faun, from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I’m pear shaped anyway so I don’t need to make my thighs appear any larger than they are. It’s a big no for me.
Barrel leg is a hard pass, for me. I will ways love cheetah print, though. Forever.
Yeah no barrel leg for me either.. leopard is always a yes.. and white pants are a NOT ON MY LIFE 😂
Yeah, those pants are ridiculous!
Saaame
I don't get the barrel jeans either and don't think they look flattering on anyone. It's like designers are just playing with us.
Just another way for them to get more money out of younger generations for the sake of “being on trend”. These designers have nothing truly new left to offer 🫠.
Can you tell me the brand/style of jeans you were wearing with the black mesh shoes? Thank you.
What is this Jackie Kennedy "cross" you referred to?? I have looked it up online and can't find it anywhere. Please share!
Wait…leopards not in anymore?! 😂 I still love my leopard cardi & flats so much!! Hehe. Great vid thx
The burgundy knit set looks great on you. Everything does. Just not a fan of the barrel bow leg jeans😅
I love the boat neck tops you show! What kind of bra is appropriate for thoe? I don't want the stars showing @angelabraniff ?? Thanking!
Where did you get the striped sneakers?
So many great outfits here...but I'm ready for the half-tuck to go away.
I love your vids but I almost didn’t click on it because I was worried you were gonna just sell me on Walmart. I’d love to see more lifestyle and personal goals of yours!

I’m here for animal prints all day, any day…..❤❤❤
No barrel leg pants..I am short..it wouldn't go well
wine satin skirt link is not working
Call me old but, animal print will always be a classic. Just not head to toe.
The 'boiler jumpsuit' looks like what my grandpa wore to work. LOL I just couldn't.
How do you wear a slip dress without feeling like you're wearing a nighty? That is one I just can't cozy up to.
Thank you for making this video Angela. As a bigger girl, I definitely need to be more careful about not looking frumpy in the fit of my clothes during the colder months. If I’m not careful, I’ll look like a sack of potatoes.
Yosemite Sam! Bahahahahaha!😂

lol, WE are not trying to look like Yosemite Sam😂
2:10 😂😂😂😂
Do you feel that skinny jeans are outdated?
My mother in law used to say designers hate women. Something as unflattering as the barrel jean makes me suspect she had a point!
I tried a pair of barrel leg pants and they were a hard no. Just. No.
The only problem with all these pretty autumn colors in clothing is as a cool toned person, I look terrible in them. So I'll have to stick to my winter color pallet.

Nope on the barrel legs!
There’s someone on IG who wears some kind of like these, only she calls them ‘man repeller’ jeans. That is an apt name.

Barrel jeans just look silly i am sorry.😢 Even on a model they would. My favourite look on you is the one with the blue puffy sleeves jacket
Barrel jeans and the gas station jump suit-noooooo
The barrel jeans look is a huge NO for me. No. 🤷🏻♀️
Barrel leg jeans look ridiculous to me.
Same here. Who comes up with this stuff. Jeez.
Barrel jeans are a no for me.
I hate slip skirts not flattering to me.

I am the opposite; naturally knock-kneed. I envied the bow-leg look so much! Barrel style pants actually camouflaged my flaw and I loved them.
@@allisonangier1631 Oh I totally get it! Us divergent-legged ladies need to stick together :)
Barrel jeans?.. reminds me of a cactus for some reason.
Is it time for burgundy lips again yet 🤪
Those barrel leg jeans are horrible on everyone IMHO
Barrel jeans look good on no one. Hard pass.
The barrel jeans makes people look like they have bad case of rickets. Not a good look.
