All those destroyed tarps sicken me. I live on the water here in Hobe Sound, but never would I do that to someone. I remember this homeless guy I met at the racetrack in Stuart was crying and telling me someone stole all of his clothing and his tent. He said “a homeless person will steal your clothing, but never your house. that’s the cops.“ makes me think about why there are so many homeless now. Government stealing houses from those who used to be middle class.
Edit: back the blue until it happens to you.

Do the math: Martin County claims to have only 250 homeless.. but two of them have got killed in the last year. Thats just from homicide now imagine accidents, and illness. And overdose.. You become homeless your chances of surviving diminish quickly

Four people were viciously brutally murdered in that one small area. All of those people were bound to the area by a social service agency calling itself Love and Hope in action, LAHIA. THERE WERE ALSO many beatings that were not lethal and one or two that were very close to being lethal. Several women were raped. This is not out of all the homeless people in Martin county. We are talking about a very small comparative number of people in the woods behind Walmart in Stuart and next to Lowe's. Considering all the drugs, alcoholism, illegal narcotics, murders, beatings and rapes, and all the registered sex offenders and predators living in that one small area, it amounted to a high concentration of nefarious criminals. They all had one thing in common. They were influenced to stay in the area by LAHIA. THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE RUNNING THE SHOW IN THE AREA WHO HAVE SOME NASTY UNDERLYING INTENTIONS. The concealed and cloak their intentions with virtue signaling statements like compassion and empathy.

I'm sorry but I got to say something when I was homeless I picked up my trash and after myself respectful of someone's land this is a perfect example why they run you off as a homeless person it makes hard on other homeless people to find some were to lay there head as a land owner I would be sympathy for a homeless person but to come out on my land to see that I would be pissed

It's sad I live in central Florida and I have a great job but it's gotten so expensive that I could only survive for a short time if anything ever happens to my ability to work it's sad to me how much homelessness we have now I know people who work and don't have mental health problems or drug problems but still have to either live in their car, hotel or a tent just because the price of housing right now is ridiculous God Bless 🙏

Its crazy, as a kid/teen in the 90s and early 2000s i used to practically live in "urban" wooded areas and while we used to come across homeless camps they were somewhat rare, now they're practically everywhere, i also feel like the statics are practically made up in a lot of places, my current town which i think is actually pretty honest about it, had reported about 100 homeless in 2019, and 226 in 2023 which i'd say in a believable jump, but then i drive through other cities and they will have visibly worse homelessness, yet report similar numbers and it'll be like only a "11%" increase year over year.. yeah right..

There have been at least four vicious violent brutal murders from that one very small area and small number of people camped in back of Walmart in Stuart Florida and next to Lowe's. There were also rapes and beatings. The used just about every kind of illegal drug imaginable constantly and continuously along with alcohol. One man was slowly excruciatingly beat to death over the period of about an hour. Another man's skull was crushed in and he had numerous broken bones. I just found another man dead in a pond where weights had been tied to his body and he had been thrown into the water. A poor old man in a wheelchair was beat half to death. There have been so many vicious crimes and violations of the law by that very small number of people who camp in that one small area.
