It's been a while since I've uploaded a video, apologies, I am very busy with the streaming (In case you did not know, I broadcast 24/7, mostly WoW Classic footage but will change in the future: th-cam.com/users/Meisiolive ). The support have been overwhelming and I plan to continue to create content for both channels (standard & live). I am going to create a public post on my Patreon soon, detailing the plans / ambitions with the stream. P.S. 1: Next, a gameplay. P.S. 2: I'll put the stream to good use and tomorrow I'll broadcast the uncut version of this movie (2 hours long). *Info:* If you like what I do, please consider subscribing to the channel and liking & sharing the video. Gankerthorn Vale. Thank you for making this video Meisio. The ending when the rain stopped and the boat came in and rang its bell was perfect. We do notice little touches like this.
This is where I parked my first ever WoW character, Ardio the Human Warrior on my first account and ran out of sub time, then forgot the account details a year later when TBC dropped and had to make a new one. Forever will he reside in Vietnam
The first 20 - 30 levels in Wow were like a cool single-player/coop game. That was until you went into STV. The first time I got there and started doing those dwarf hunter quests, a few minutes later I was ganked and died to an undead rogue, which was the first time I ever read "kek" and heard that undead laugh. Boy, that made me mad at the time. That was followed by 2 hours straight trying to do quests and dying nonstop to the same rogue. After the rogue disappeared and I was still questing, killing some trolls in ruins, that was when I saw I could get my vengeance: an undead priest was doing the same quests. I went like crazy to get that priest and boom. I was dead again, now farmed by another undead. Hearing that fu**ing laugh and reading kek. Boy. STV was brutal.
I started playing WoW in 2013, so I don't know how it was to get camped in this zone, but Stranglethorn Vale holds a deep place in my heart since it was one of the first zones that actually were hard Thanks for making these video, they bring back good memories
rumor has it if you turn down all the sound and music and crank up the ambience, you can hear creedance clearwater's "fortunate son" very faintly as a rogue approaches you
you're video are so awesome! I study with this many time. Can you make another video in Pandaria (jade forest for exemple) ? For me MOP was the most beautiful extension for landscape, atmosphere and music. Good job and thank you for you're work! I need that for study correctly! ;)
@@Meisio I always liked that it was this large unexplored jungle with dangers behind every corner. Teldrassil was my first zone ever so it also has a special place in my heart
I agree. There was always some part I would find that had nothing to do with anything else but would be a great little adventure. Like the gorillas on the island with the statue or underwater naga areas. Made for a wonderful adventure
I remember me and my highest level friend trying to let me get through this place , we're actually having fun by running around the map . I still remember that spring on the hill , and the beach full of pirates . We're singing together , for some dumb reason , pure and happy . I'm too old for these .

now that it's summer time i find myself coming back to the stv music and ambience more than the usual snow/forest ones.
same lol, it really goes very well with the boiling heat and humidity, music team nailed it back in the day
Goes best in around May-June on a hot day for that month. @@AgelessStones

Thank you for _watching_ :) I usually create a little story around these videos. Happy they get noticed :)
2/10 Unrealistic, missing the screams of Alliance members being backstabbed by 7 rogues in the same time.
Meisio you did it again... Best memories of ganking and getting ganked
Thank you for watching Jonathan ❤ A bit of Stockholm Syndrome if you remember happy the times you were ganked :)

This zone, this music, leveling as Alliance on a Horde dominated PvP server. Cue .. Oh my PTSD...
*gets sapped* oh no no no.
*undead male /cackle*
Ahhh this was my Vietnam.
The fact that you added rain is just brilliant and so incredibly soothing.

Had to look up what kek means, never saw or noticed that when I played. TIL

i will cry the day meisio decides to move on from the channel :(

This zone was always so fresh.I like it!
Green jungle fresh. Also fresh blood spilled every day :-)
I loved Vietnam I mean STV! :D
Lol
memory 2006
Getting ganked by Alliance at the questing zone all the time, then ganking them back :D...
I'm stuck on this video. I'd like a big video of all tropical or jungle zones mixed with rain ambience. So relaxing while working. Thank you Meisio.
Great work Meisio, the stream is amazing btw
Thank you for support Hugo

“There will be blood” type of zone.
Old STV is the best zone this game has ever seen
Not like Teldrassil, but I guess it is alright! xD

Great stuff. The definitive stranglethorn ambience experience.
Aaah...the sound of graveyard camping undead rouges.
My favorite zone! Keep it up Meisio!
Thank you, I will :) A gameplay next!
Como eu precisava disso, ainda bem que encontrei esse canal! Muito obrigado por isso! Só fico triste com o que aconteceu em STV pós Catacysm.
I think this is one of my favorite tracks from WoW. It's just such great music.
Nice touch with the raptor noises! I remember hearing those sounds of dread before I died after a long chase xD
War zone PTSD flashbacks ☠️
Nothing like getting camp in this amazing jungle
Thank you for watching :)
Stranglethorn man.... The nostalgia... Craaaazyyy
Great job. I love your content Meisio!
Thank you Paul
Great video ! One of the most beautiful zones.
Thank Meisio, I use your songs to focus at work and it's really helpful. It brings a lot of memories to my mind as well :)
My pleasure Victor. I am always saying this, but I'll repeat it anyway, I am very happy to see my videos have a (useful) meaning.

legendary description of the zone
45:25 that noise scared the shit out of me
STV is the "kalimdor" of the eastern kingdoms. Wild, inhospite, full of beasts and trolls.
god damn added gorilla sounds
No, _this_ is the music for Vanilla Stranglethorn:
