    I really appreciate this video and agree. Also considering that gabby & Suni biggest competitor is Skye Blakely like let’s be so fr rn

    Yes Simone has a lower D score than the Chinese women, but, the Chinese are notoriously inconsistent when it counts. If the Chinese falter in beam finals and Simone hits, she could beat them. As far as Gabby is concerned, pulling out isn’t the problem. What bothers me is not staying on the floor and cheering on the other competitors. Konnor was hurt but she was there. Simone did it in Tokyo. When I was competing we learned that we stay on the floor and support our teammates whether we’re competing or not and I think that should apply to everyone regardless of being Olympic champion or not.

      I totally understand, but I want to give Gabby grace just in case this was a mental block. If it was, it’s better that she was safe rather sorry.

      @@gymjam2024 I agree. I also feel that even in a mental block you can and should be expected to stay on the floor. No competition necessary but be supportive. If she were to make the team and had a mental block, it would make me angry to see her go off the floor and not stay with the team to cheer them on like Simone did. Even then Simone was dragged and you know if Gabby has a block, scratches and doesn’t stay on the floor she’ll be dragged worse.

      @@mariahazcueta3621She’s been dragged before competing y’all just don’t like Gabby so save the passive aggressive comments
      She’s not expected to do anything .. she’s a human being not a cheerleader if she wasn’t in that mind space to stay around after feeling terrible about her performance she doesn’t have to.
      She’s a 28 yr old woman who’s entirely introverted she was not disrespectful to any of the competitors there she simply left the arena.
      Y’all try and find issues with everything

      @@HazelAmariethank you! You’re one of the first comments I’ve seen who has taken into account A.) the fact that she is a human and B.) personality. As an introvert myself I immediately picked up on her introversion in interviews, and how she shares online. Everybody processes differently and for some of us, we just cannot regroup and find our center in front of a ton of people. Nobody knows exactly what is going through her mind, and everybody is different so people need to stop with petty personality policing. Simone is clearly extremely extroverted, and seems to be the type of person who processes things after the fact (which would account for the way she handled Tokyo). I’m just so over all of these arm chair experts.

    Simone, Shilese are locks. No other Cheng and good floor makes Jade nearly a lock. I still need to routines next week to decide the 3rd all around and beam & bars spot.

      @@gymjam2024 Ik their spots would be solidified. Ik at American classic Jade was in good standing. Ik the last 2 spots would be up for grabs yet gabby & Suni the best contenders without one Leanne being the most likely alternative

      Wait a minute, "no other Cheng" as if Jade doesn't have a beautiful Cheng. Joscelyn has one but it sucks, Skye allegedly has one but we've never seen it and she'll probably fall on it anyway lol

    I think Gabby is a long shot at this point. I would not put her on my team. I would still have pause even if she hits at championships and trials because she’s still very rusty in terms of competing. I don’t think mentally she can handle Olympics pressure right now. If she had competed a few times already at this point, successfully, different story. Suni has to have 4 hit bars and bean sets each in order to make it. The other 3 I think are in unless something bad happens.

    I won't be coming back, as I felt attacked by someone else here. I also felt like you yourself were questioning my opinions, just because we have a difference of opinions when it comes to some things sometimes, if I may ask; why do you find that offensive? And the girl who said I was explaining Suni's beam wrongly, trying to shame my wording, that's just very rude! Yes I should have put graceful, not grace, but who cares? I am a mighty cancer survivor, excuse me, my head hurts sometimes, and I don't say things perfectly to suit you. I do wish you well, Jamal, and enjoyed your channel, peace out.

      Some people on here are just OFFENSIVE. At no time did you say anything MEAN, DISPARAGING or BELITTLING about ANY gymnast but because some people are, as we say here 'drinking bush tea for someone else's cold', they take people's comments out of context and twist the meaning of then to their own warped understanding. I am sorry you have had this experience on here but I would strongly advise that you do your best and ignore these FOOLS.

    I have been watching Jade for a long time. Your spot on here about her pacing strategy. She regrouped after last elite season and, well, she never surprises me with her proffessionalism about her sport.

    • @LatinFratGuy1
      @LatinFratGuy1 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Also let’s not forget in 2021 she didn’t have to pace the same way since she had her own spot for the Olympics and look how that turned out. Scoring wise she proved had she wanted to she should have been on the team. Qualified 3rd behind Simone and suni in the AA, vault and floor and had an absolute banging uneven bars score in qualifications. She’s pacing differently to absolutely price she should be on this team this cycle. I’ll be at
      Nationals Sunday and can’t wait to see them all live!
