Most def not veryany tts around here I'm in Mississippi and I travel alot and I have only seen 3 in the entire state. 1 of the 3 is mine and she is nooooooooo where close to stock. Wish there was a group of TT guys in my area too meet up with. We do alot of car shows and it's sad to be the only Audi in them.
Crap Master that seems mad to me, as in England I don’t think you can go for a drive without seeing one. But saying that I could drive all day and not see one Chevy/mustang/ram etc.
Have the values skyrocketed like they have here in the USA, even our Audi R8 mk1 the value went for 55k to 90-95k but ours is the V10 with gated manual the V8 models have jumped way up to from the typical 45k and now are around 75k to 80k
Crap Master I don’t actually follow the price of R8’s but tt’s are on the rise, possibly half. My fault as over 30,000 people have watched my why you should buy a tt in 2020 😂. Prices are all over the place. 2 cars the same spec, similar mileage and year. One is £1k other is £2500-3k 😂
Had the red TT stopped beside me at traffic lights in Glasgow 2 weeks ago great to see it again on you vid. Was in my wife's Clio but I have a 225 '53 TT. Had to replace the BAM engine (which was sourced from Germany) after the water pump drive cog fell apart but was well worth it. Have their faults all fixable great experience owning one.
Thanks for commenting, it is a beautiful car! always the way you see a car you have but your never in the one you want to be happens to me all the time i see a lovely tt when in my s4 and they look at me like im mad haha
Hi m8, I have tt 225 mk1 and it has only 88km a really fun car to drive but as I live in Saudi Arabia and its sooo rare to find like these car I can't mod up my car and enjoy spending money on it 😄 as I want to keep it stock as possible. Keep it up and without ur videos I couldn't fix anything on my car. 👍🏻
Excellent video! Any chance of correlating the output figures to the cars with their mods listed? In a chart or table ? 😬 Would be great to see it as a quick reference comparison.
@@TheParrottBros you're a top man, thanks so much for the content, such a great resource. I ordered a BAF MS downpipe and sports cat after watching your video the other day, will be fitting next weekend. Excited to see how it performs! Keep up the good work 👌

A full oil change, while looking if I have any maintenance to do. And first thing first change this cassette tape player 😂 BTW, at "high speed" I'm feeling a bit of air passing throw the left of the windows, is this normal ? If no how to fix it ?
Nick I have a brother, we do a lot of car related stuff together and to be fair I treat all the car friends as brothers so made sense to call it that 😂
Where can I get the big mouth style black grill from that is on the silver coupe Tt with black painted top!? That makes the car look so much better and newer up front!
David Hodgeon you can fit a 225 k04 but you will have to fit the k04 down pipe and then get it tweaked to fit the 180 cat back system. All doable just at a cost
David Hodgeon sometimes stock with a few little tweaks is a lot less hassle than doing loads to achieve a little more power. The k03 is a wicked car, I have had a few, you can get a map, turbo intake pipe air filter and it will be lovely. You can also get a downpipe to release a few more ponys too. If I’m honest if you enjoy driving it and are happy less is more. Less to go wrong too 😂
just bought a audi tt mk1 180bhp front wheel drive from 2000 with 86.000 miles in black, very good condition all stock, standard 17 inch wheels etc, the power is more then enought for me tbh since I drive a toyota with half the power the audi tt has maybe I would just put the facelift grill from models from 2003 and probably the exhaust pipe to make it sound a bit nicer but I won´t mess with custom wheels etc, I love the original 18 inch wheels variants of the audis but I´m not sure if you can swap the orignal 17 inch wheels for the 18 without making the car highter or lower, can anyone help thks.-
pew pew laser beams hey thanks for watching. Wheels wise you can use any stock MK1 tt wheels without issue, they will all fit and not cause any changes to your car besides looking different :). The facelift grill really does bring the front to a nice look. Amazing really what a £40-70 grill can do. Exhaust pipe wise to go from a 180 to 225 does require a little bit of modification I believe. Not actually something I’ve done before.
bunter6 there was too many cars and not enough time to get them all done mate. So I was too busy filming and letting everyone else enjoy ☺️. Rolling footage in the pipeline tho don’t worry
Teit Hansen thanks glad you enjoyed it! There was too many cars on the day and not enough time, I’ll be getting mine on the rollers in the next few months for a map tweak and few other bits ☺️
The Parrott Bro’s sounds great, would like to know what your TT makes after a map tweak👍i had mine on a dyno and it only produced 245 Bhp which was due to a boost leak in a hose on the diverter valve and a bad mapping according to a Audi mapping specialist and mechanic who will map it when driving it. He will also check other boost leaks. It should make 270 Bhp even with the cat on.
Purple TT owner in BWS TT video said he expects between 270-280 with the AmD map. Then this video says expected between 260-270 when he soon realised his AmD map is rubbish and made less than what rubbish AmD got on their dyno 😂 Tell the owner get a better map lol
Will u put up what each car set up was i.e stage1 mapping and so on . 260 seems the normal with a remap Or did a lot not say I no some are stage 1 map And air filter. Maybe pipe work done . Be nice to no from225bhp what it takes to get to 260 bhp. Stage 1map or can u go down the meth & water kit. to produce 100 something octane that's gotta do something. How much is a stage 1map £ all in . The man on one car or two sed 260 stage 1map but something about no not having somthink done. But how£ to get to 260bhp then to that 300bhp £ . After 300 then what do you need Forge pistons or maybe not forge pistons just a cam and maybe rods. And if so that gets to 300bhp As stage 1map gets 260bhp how much more can u get out of it was the cam and maybe Forge stuff or rods. If thtas dome what then 400bhp . What do u u reckon
Right so if you click on the video description there is another link to go to Bws tt page and he discussed what most people have and what they predict to get power wise. So as a rough idea on modifications, a stage one map is software only so you can do that to a stock car with no other mods, a good healthy car will be between 250 and 260 hp. The next power again for argument sake to a stage two would be better flow models, so turbo intake pipe, downpipes, from Mount intercooler air filter, that should see you in a healthy car around 280 Mark, you can add water meth Which will help but may not give you a massive increase as you are limited to what the turbo can flow, so engine modifications wise you would need to get forged rods, the existing Pistons are forge mahle usually. Rods have a limit of 300 foot pounds anything more and they are likely to bend. To go anything above 300 you need to start looking at turbos which then means changing your downpipe exhaust it up your manifold your intake et cetera then you will need injectors and the price is depending on how far you want to go is how much you will spend
The Parrott Bro’s Also some supertech valves, springs etc. Their exhaust valves are absolute dog shite. I ran some numbers recently and the list of mods for close to 400-500 bhp comes up to 5k euros and that’s without taking into account what your technicians will charge you, and no software mapping. Also, no meth cause that’s unfamiliar territory for me. My guess, it’s probably 8 to 10k euros for the whole deal, just for the engine. Please take it with a grain of salt, it was a quick research.
@@TheParrottBros nice thank u for covering all what I asked nice one. Whan my car build starts I am looking to push 350/400 maybe. But nice to no i can go 300bhp then change the rods & so on . Thank u again. 👍 This is the best TT channel on utube bye a long long way. Top work bros
