Love Ricky, loved Blackfoot back in their day. I can respect working hard to keep a legacy alive too. But with a couple youngsters and their Mohawks it begins to resemble one of a billion garage bands around the world. Long live those old boys who weren't scared to put a little twang in those songs!!

It's a shame he can't do a deal with the older original Blackfoot guys to use the name in some way.I'd rather see them play as Blackfoot to be honest...I don't get the totally new line up of younger guys at all (I don't think Ricky plays with them all the time, does he?),it's simply not Blackfoot.

Those of you bashing the current lineup have never seen these guys play. they have fantastic chemistry, are outstanding musicians, and unlike the 36 previous members, these guys started together in 2012 and stayed that way which is more than can be said for previous lineups. this is Ricky Medlockes hand picked band so stop with the uninformed opinions. I first saw Blackfoot in 1979 and this group is maybe the finest. they are not "kids" by any stretch so stop insulting Jeremy, Tim, Matt, Brian and Rickey. they are fantastic, dedicated musicians and my friends.

very well stated. Let's face it, for those of us that grew up at a different time, we can certainly appreciate the best of the best and should be grateful that groups like this are still out there performing even if there has to be member changes. What I am most happy to see and I think people overlook, is that the younger members of the band 'could' be buying into the latest canned crap that is pushed out by the music companies nowdays but instead...they choose to appreciate and learn from those that were 'there'..at a great great time for many of us. We can appreciate that for what it is. I see comments all the time by what I call 'youngsters' that state that their mom or dad turned them on to (insert any great rock band from the 60's-70's, 80's) and they love it. We should be happy that these kids in their teens are loving this stuff. For as long as they are listening, it will never die. blessings to all, and rock on.

Rickey Medlocke just shit canned that entire line up and bought in a whole new band again, i dont think he even let the guys know, the new line up had their 1st show a few days ago in NJ.. Medlocke, Gerg t walker and charlie hargrett should have hit the studo during covid and played a new album. everyone from the original blackfoot is still alive except for the drummer jackson spires,, Charlier Hargrett is not up for a full blown tour,, he gets winded after an hour,, but they could have went into the studio.. Charlie Hargrett is still all smiles from 2012 until 2015 Charlie Hargrett from Blackfoot , Banner Thomas from Molly Hatchet, Derek Hess from Rossington Collins, and Molly Hatchets new lead singer Jimmy Elkins were doing shows as Southern Rock legends until Banner passed away suddenly, Hatchets new lead singer is my best friend and was born to sing southern rock, the guy sings skynyrd songs i swear he sounds just like Ronnie, but then again he can sing like karen carpenter also if he wants to, he actually can sing waylon willie Kristopherson and johnny cash ,, and sing the highhwayman in all 4 voices.. he is the rich little of music.

Ricky Medlocke wrote and performed a big part of the soundtrack to millions of lives. He’s an Icon. An American badass. And a living legend. Plays every show like it was his first and last. I respect his work more than ai can adequately put into words. Wish I could shake his hand and just say “thanks, for everything.” I know it wasn’t easy. But, he makes it look that way.

Rickey is just absolutely friggin' awesome. My Guitar God! I am sorry I missed this show especially after following him for many years. I never saw Blackfoot back in the day - I just don't know how I never noticed them in the 80's. I guess I'll have to just watch the DVD's of shows from those days to make up for it. Good to see him play these songs now! Great job with the new band too! They sound great!

Open for Blackfoot in 95. Wife was pregnant and Rick said a blessing over my daughter. Total classy. I saw the Strikes tour when I was in 7th grade and net Rick then. Showed him my old autograph. He was the reason I wanted to be rick star.

I chose the username RagedyHobo in this group of intellectual IT folks... Okay, hackers. They were like, what's that🤔? So, me being an old biker, I took them to a biker bar... Okay, scary clubhouse I may or may not have been a part of. I asked the band to play Train, Train... And play that shit loud. All of those geeks were rocking out, and having the time of their lives. They keep asking me, ''take us somewhere else that's cool''. I happily obliged😎.
Oh, and the bikers really liked them to, especially, especially the ladies. And, maybe I rejoined, I was good out. Maybe.

Sorry, a guitarist and drummer that look like punk rockers? Plus, the same sound is not there. The heart and soul are not with the young members. I saw them live in Biloxi and Philly so many years ago. Truly, the sound is not there...I wish it would be.

I'm sure that musicians (or most of them anyway) would applaud these guys regardless of the lineup. Non-musicians for the most part will not because "they're not original".

Am kind of a "non musician" , whatever that is. But I consider myself kind of a "purist",if you will, having been around since the originals were, still love the song even played by a garage band.
