I found deviator bug. When deviator hit the unit, you can select the attack command but do not give it away until it becomes an enemy. Then such a unit can destroy any building and no one will attack it.
When I do this level (on the default settings) I get attacked in the first minute by 3 tanks, two of them heavy tanks, they decimate me and I don't know what to do. It's like the AI isn't working and comes straight at me and I barely have enough time to build a harvester let alone any forces. Doesn't matter if I explore or what I do, they come at me after about 1 minute Weird...
You would get rushed by heavy units at the start of the next mission and get wiped. You are supposed to know the answer from the game manual. It is the anti-piracy mechanism of the game.
This is a speedrun, so every second counts. Also, it doesn't really matter. The refinery doesn't benefit from full HP and the AI will almost always go for production or repair facility first.
How is this a speed run? No offense, but you’re really bad … why wait so long and why would you build 2 heavy factories before starport?! And your concrete building and then placing buildings on rock decimating building health by half… what gives? I fell out of my chair when you created 8 slabs and then placed starport above it where there wasn’t any. A speed run is by someone who’s an expert just cutting through the whole game in record time, in my experience…
Yeah you can run this game in about 4 hours, so I knew his skill level wasn’t at snuff from the run time. And it doesn’t help that he is using Ordos, the worst of the 3 houses.

only if it attack another computer's unit. If a Harkonnen attack a Harkonnen unit/building, it simply turn back and attack you

You're probably playing a non-cracked version and answering the copy protection question wrong.
I am still amazed how advanced the graphics were compared to Dune 2000. I still rate it higher than later installments and C&C
Dune 2k was very much tinted towards sand colours. Gave the game sort of a monochromatic look, which I never found appealing

They're only from the games.

Why does the dude never lay concrete for his refineries? It takes max half a minute to lay concrete enough for the refineries. Improper foundations.
