Hello everyone! We received a lot of questions about which gear we use over our journey and references. So here it is, in description you can find all the links for every single piece of equipment !!! It should be useful hopefully! Nick & Mathilde
Another great rig build video . Thanks again for sharing all the thinks that make up a over landing rig , as always fun ,informative and enjoyable video . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌏☕️🍻👍🏼😁🧰
Salut les baroudeurs, Merci pour cette vidéo très enrichissante contenant plein d'infos qui m'intéressent au plus haut point. Bon voyage et bonnes futures découvertes. Michel
Hi nick & matil. again a big thank you we are really enjoying your productions, question which 45l water tank do you have on the rear floor of the truck? Many thanks
like the roof top conversion wish we had something like this in the U.S. I like the ineos greidier ,is not in my price range yet ,if we had one for jeeps TOYOTA wagons maybe the chevy tahoe size wagon
It s quite different, Sorel's build is brand new, very very well done, super high end. I think in terms of gear she has a lot but will probably adapt a bit as she goes and tests, we had to do it too at the beginning. Our's might be more DIY/messy than her's for sure. but with the years on the road it is now tested and optimised for our type of journey
Nick I just see you got the Jerry cans on the left side where the awning is will be much better on the other side but I see you have the special window on the right.Do you have the chasis boxen in both sides? and any problem when you go offroad
Hey we d have preferred also the other side but the car is built in that way now. We cant change some aspects of the set up for now. Yes chassis on both side and they flush with the chassis so no problem
Hi guys. Thanks for the walk through. I noticed you have heavy duty axle hubs and presume HD axles also. Are they Terrafima? Any reason you chose 265/75 over 235 or 255/85’s?
ooooh I dont remember everything, from the top of my head: exercise equipment is now just a tarp and elastic bands, water treatment the life saver jerrycan was enough... cooking set got lighter as well. That is it I think. we try to get rid of things we did not use every 3 to 6 months.
I really have enjoyed following you on your odyssey, what a great outfit; who supplied your spare wheel holder? I am booked with in with x-v-x for a pop top on our Td5 110, I'm in the process of fitting an Engels and Eberspacher, seat cushions are from Ply Guys, the cabinets etc will be self build.
Bonjour, excellent ce concept du mercredi 👍 pourrais tu détailler la fixation de la boîte Pélican à côté des jerricans ? Adaptations d’une plaque ? Système spécifique pour les rails aéro ? Par avance merci
@@NextMeridianExpedition thank you. I have been asking chatgpt for days by giving it screenshots from your video. It kept telling me Gaia, tried it and didn't like it ... Mapout is definitely awesome..
Did you make a mistake at the start of the video? You stated that the engine in the vehicle had been around the world. I thought you installed a completely new engine in it while there in Australia?

Great run around. Thanks.
How does it compare to sorrel’s troopie?

Hi guys ! Where did you source the back door window grid on which you attach the med kit and other storage bags? (above the fold down table) Merci !
Thanks for all your great videos! How heavy is your car fully tanked up, all loaded, without the two of you on board?
2800kg a big baby :)

Are you running front and rear differential lockers? If so, which type? Thanks
Good question.
only a central lock!
Something interesting was missed. The fuel tank mouth has a nice gadget on it. Could you tell us something about it?
I think you are referring to the lock? we have a tap with a lock on the fuel tank

Great overview, thank you very much!!!
Can you tell me the mount for the grube please!

Hey what app are you guys using to navigate on your phone?
it is Map Out only for iOS but Gaia would be an equivalent that works with android (we dont like it as much)
@@NextMeridianExpedition thank you. I have been asking chatgpt for days by giving it screenshots from your video. It kept telling me Gaia, tried it and didn't like it ... Mapout is definitely awesome..
@ hahaha yes map out is awesome and you can draw your own lines and get full stats on it. It a bit more “manual’ but so much more versatile
ola meus amigos linda a land abraço
Abracos!!!
❤
thank you !!!
Nic, did you say your winch was 9500lbs?
🫡🙏🏿
hello !!!
Did you make a mistake at the start of the video? You stated that the engine in the vehicle had been around the world. I thought you installed a completely new engine in it while there in Australia?
I think he was referring to the car itself rather than the specific parts in the car
yep that was the idea :)
Great stuff guys👌. What’s your main fuel tank capacity and water tank capacity ? Cheers
Watching on this other account, but its still me @kevisoffgrid
Hey Kev!!! hahhhaah a stupide monkey off grid!?
@NextMeridianExpedition just this personality is more dominant at the moment ;)
@@NextMeridianExpedition .and this personality stalks you're insta ;)
Algo loves the comments 😂
Very theatrical Nic lol. All of your stuff won’t fit into my Disco 2a. 😂👍🏻🙏🦘
