Anyone that's annoyed or jealous of this man is just wasting his time. Peter Obi (Okwute) worked so hard-both in his private and public life to get to where he's today. He could have chosen to go into oblivion or go to the Senate-that has become a retirement home for ex-governors. But he continued to build himself.

I cannot but pass a comment on this man Peter Obi because I had personal encounter with him in Lagos precisely we both lodged at the Protea hotel Ikeja when he was a Governor of Anambra state. Very unusual I didn't notice the usual movements of security details with fleet of cars in the parking lots. We both sat on the same table like any other customer and had our breakfast together. The biggest surprise was when I met him at the airport some minutes later and discovered that we were both on the same flight to London. On that same flight was a wife of one of our Governor in the South West. Whereas myself and Peter Obi lined up and checked in normally. We only got to know that the Governor's wife was on that flight during boarding because the league of protocol and security details must have handled Madam departure arrangements. I even personally introduced Gov Peter Obi to anybody that cares including the Governor's wife because he remains too ordinary. My final and biggest surprise was on arrival in London. I saw Peter Obi again lined up with every passenger to pick his bag, he picked a trolley like any of us and we were both passing through the custom check together. I then asked him politely why he refused to use the diplomatic channel as serving Governor He answered me again that except he his travelling with the President he travel only on the ordinary Nigerian passport. How I wish our so call leaders and politicians can borrow a leaf from this amiable gentleman
He ends even more urgently and decisively: WE MUST BECOME POLITICAL. Good people must be there. Also, I'd like to cast my first ever vote for this man running as President. I've never been more genuinely hopeful
