I love that Bolllinger doesn't give a shit about how he looks on some of these videos. He just rolls out of bed, smokes a joint and then plays his ass off. The reviews are the best gear porn on line.
This is a great sounding amp! Would be neat if they also offered it with a 1X15 speaker, but sounds incredible with whatever is in it in this demo (OK, it's a 12")! Very warm clean, and nice overdriven noises, as well. Power is real good for my home needs, too. Amp has a complex sound, which I really dig. One of these Skylarks would be very happy living at my house!
I really want you to make a review on the Super Bee, I know there already is one online from your channel but you hit it out of the park with this one would be nice to compare

Stable of Amps? How many amps can you play at once? This amp. clearly is not intended t be a professional playing model, rather a very expensive practice amp. I've sought ever means possible to rid myself of past with better more modern technology...i.e. PRS guitars, and Fender Mustang II V2 20W practice amp.
Terrance Hill I usually play One at a time, I collect gear because it is fun :-) I used to collect stamps, it is fun. I used to be a professional photographer & had tons of gear, now I have a nice Nikon D810 & about 5 lenses. I can only shoot with One lens at a time but I'm always prepared :-) A good friend of mine is "The Tone King" he has more gear than the avg. Guitar Center. He like most of us have G.A.S. it's fun. It doesn't matter what you save your money or spend it on, it's your $$. If it puts a smile on your face and you still pay your bills & the kids don't go w/o food who cares. Oh, BTW if properly Mic'd a 12 W amp run through a good PA system can easily be used Professionally, the guys in our Church Band use small wattage amps and fill our very large church with beautiful LOUD music :-)

There are few things that can uplift a congregation better than good music, not even a really good minister..Lol. I completely understand the dynamic involved. I remember when we were young-er and the old timers would stand around with their Hymnals lip syncing the somns while the "Church Lady" organ & piano players pounded out the songs the same way they had for the past 30-40 years, they're all gone now..God bless their souls, and here we are with a rock church in the same position, and instead of the old Hammond B3 organs (which sounded great) we have the synthesizers, the Les Paul's, Stratocasters & PRS's wistfully carving out a new and more exciting and elevating sound....who knew?
Man I am torn between this Skylark and a Black Magick reverb. I like the Reverb on this better than the supro but I love the high drive on the black magic
wait, is that weather checked or did Gibson actually make a flamed gold top? after I saw Nik Huber's I've wanted a gold top guitar where you can still see the flame maple
yeah, they are definitely mini-humbuckers... a Les Paul Deluxe by definition has mini-humbuckers... and they sound very different from humbuckers, much brighter and spankier, halfway between a Tele and a Les Paul. (My favorite pickup fwiw). I wish he would have spent more time demoing the amp with clean mini-humbuckers instead of dimed out as that's probably how I'd mostly use it.

I keep going back to my 74 silverface DR or my DRRI. Also, that is an awesome guitar mouth. I haven't seen a good one in a while. I don't know why people try to suppress the guitar mouth.
If it's three in the morning, John, you should be in bed - and definitely NOT playing. Even 1.2 watts goes right through a wall. People have been killed for less. Musicians: WTF? LOL...sort of.
I just pulled the trigger on one of these. It's a killer amp, there's no bad settings and it also takes pedals like a champ. I couldn't be happier.
