Little did Clifford know how his wonderful compositions would be among the most frequently played jazz standards. This fine arrangement and execution is a fine tribute to his memory. Wonderful joyful music. A joyspring of music.
@@yonatanvoltzok Lovely to hear from you. I live in Ireland and began listening to The Voice Of America in the mid-50s when I was in my teenage years. Clifford's death saddened me - I had a 7 inch 45 rpm record (Stompin' at the Savoy/Sweet Clifford). Over the years I accumulated most of his recordings which are my proud possessions. Just this year I discovered your big band to my sheer delight! Keep doing what you're doing and mostly ENJOY IT!!!. And bringing joy to people like me all over the world. Thank you so much
@@paulbrady8888 Beautiful story Paul. It's amazing to hear of your deep connection to the music and thank you for the reminder to how this music connects us and never ceases to inspire. Thank you also for your kind words and for taking the time to share.
Through the joys of modern communications I have discovered this awesome big band. Clifford, in his gilded chair in the Great Bandstand in the Cosmos, would be thrilled. L' shana tova 5784 to you guys!

Best I've ever heard of a group doing Clifford Brown. Great trumpet work.
Wow, thank you so much Nick!!
@@yonatanvoltzok Whats with not featuring the bass player? That tune is a bistle work, no?
@@nickboretz1774 Usually the arrangement ends with a bass feature, on this version we had Eric McPherson so that's what happened;))

Impressive integration of The Core by Freddie Hubbard into the arrangement
Thanks! One of my favorite tunes:)
I love this arrangement. Especially the density in the writing at the beginning before the melody. Sick chart! ❤👍🏼
Wow, Thank you! That means a lot💙
