@@yotrif there are wind problems (precission, uniformity), and the piece calls for a less "hard" drumms interpretation...as I mentioned, your band is a world first order band, but I would rather prefer for this piece, Snarky and Ogawa...
@@obioan11 ok.. I hope you realize the drummer is the original drummer from the record, so the "hard drums" are pretty similar to how they were intended by the composer. As for the band, you're comparing the big band with a pop/funk band that has 4-5 horns (as opposed to 13) and a different type of rhythm section. There really isn't much in common between those two. I don't see what you're getting at. Are you hoping to commission the piece for them yourself or just looking to put people down and name drop to feel like you know something about music? Do you think you'd say these comments to the band face to face? What were you hoping to contribute by making these statements?
