I used to spend a lot of time in the Hassayampa riverbed near Morristown and found an old mining cart buried in the sand just South of the red cliffs about 20 years ago. Keep searching!
Greg, I love your stories and have your book. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. There is one little thing that bothers me when you tell your stories though. You have been in AZ for a while now and you should know that Prescott is pronounced "Pres-kit". Even the Phoenix New folks pronounce it properly. Keep up the good work.
Jeff, thanks for the tip. If you notice there is a few more words I wrestle with but just have to laugh. Glad you enjoyed it as this took a lot of time to put together. There is so much history in Arizona one can get lost in it and come out a year later not knowing where you started. Cheers, Greg Hawk
As an AZ Native I can confirm 👍 that either way is correct especially when Mr Hawk is the one in the arena putting in all the time Miles blood sweat & tears in the AZ desert 🏜
Love listening to your stories !
Thank You! Sometimes it takes a while to get one together as we try to research it as much as possible. There will be more to come. Cheers, Greg Hawk

Great video thank you Greg and Jim. I will find the Safe for sure now.
Tim, glad you injoyed the video and we believe the safe is still down in the bottom of the river somewhere. Cheers, Greg Hawk
Thanks for sharing some rich history about Arizona that I'm sure I never would have learned about otherwise. Keep digging for the truth
Thank You! We sort of get over-involved sometimes and get lost in the history as Arizona is so rich in it. Glad you enjoyed! Cheers, Greg Hawk
