Personally the problem isn't even her making an expression, more expression is good, but that particular render just looks weird. I prefer the cartoony style, and the realism just feels uncanny. I'm exhausted by the increasing realism on stylized characters since it turns a bit uncanny when it's not handled well, and she could make the same expression while still having her usually blocky nose and less realistic shading. It all comes down to personal preference and this changes nothing on her in game model so it doesn't matter all that much, but I just hate how the discussion has turned so hostile.
In my opinion, the movie redesigns of the characters aren't bad, they should just stay in their place. For example, the Mario redesign would ruin the whole personality Mario gives off in the games. He's meant to be a jolly, happy, cartoony plumber that runs and jumps into blocks. The movie version is meant to fit the talking, movie role of Mario more. Neither of them should swap places. Same goes for Luigi, the Toads, Bowser, and, in my opinion, Peach. Her role all along was just meant to be a small character that supports the story. I feel like more expression would've been jarring to see in opening cutscenes. I totally agree that she just looks "flat" the way she was before the movie redesign, and I see why Nintendo put a redesign similar to (but not completely the same as) the movie version in the game where she is the main character. I don't consider it "fixed" though, and hope that this redesign doesn't appear in the next 3D Mario, or any future games not starring Peach.
That is something I agree with
I agree with this, besides Peach's character
It just seems like a more fleshed out Peach!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Princess Peach is my favorite character for exactly her characterization in the games (shes not bland at all, she’s a celebration of super girly cutesie things) and I understand the change in the movie but I dont want her to become the next Daisy!
I understand this sentiment, but I don't think "small character that supports the story" applies when it's her own game...
@@_frankiefreak_ to me, I still see the redesign as being the same Peach we know and love, just with more flushed out facial expressions. I can see your perspective though.
I disagree on Peach "not having emotion" before. Not everyone needs to be "super expressive" to be a good character. I argue that sometimes just giving more "expression" doesn't always make them "more human." Your comparison with Rosalina makes even less sense considering Rosalina almost always has a warm smile on her face. Even Peach could be seen crying or showing sadness. Peach's personality is literally like her name. She's a sweet princess, and even if you don't understand why people are upset doesn't mean their point is less valid. It just means you don't understand. Peach doesn't need to be a tomboyish, energetic go-getter like Daisy to prove she has her own sensibilities and drive to help others. She's the type to compliment you sincerely, empathize, and avoid conflict. I was fine with her being fed up with Mario and Bowser fighting over her in Odyssey. She didn't lose her personality to be a little more indepedent. What people don't like was the way she started to feel more like a western, modern ideal of an independent female ruler caricature instead of a cheery, dainty but capable ruler. She's had a lot better characterization in the rpg games and still maintained this charming personality when she joined in the battle such as in Super Mario RPG.
That beinf said, I personally found her okay in the movie as they still made her likeable, made sense why she was good at the obstacle course, and she fully admitted needing help from Mario when necessary, a stark contrast from the "independent woman who don't need no man" stereotype that people think she became.
In othet words, no she has always had a personality, even if it isn't familiar to you, but I agree that the distaste for her movie character is also unwarranted but steps on the line a bit that made her less recognizable
THIS!!!
Oh my god, yeah! I didn't even think about the RPGs! I just thought, that she already got more expression in Odessey, without changing her entire character. I'm afraid she'll soon feel like Daisy, but more sassy and annoying, and that it makes the character less likable. Or It's just me and I don't like such charactertypes in movies and games.
You might have see me around hating, but I do quite respect this comment.
The only thing is that Movie Peach for me it was too much different from the actual one, but whatever, we need more people like you.
EXACTLY!!!
But what we can do... people say "she's cooler...when it doesn't even match her personality! Ok maybe sometimes she acted badass but the 20% doesn't make it whole!
I would think Daisy would be cooler too if she was invincible and super ninja against Bowser, but even as a Daisy fan I know she has a limit and I respect it. I just pretend that even captured she has the same tempered personality who yells at Bowser to free her, aggressively.
But Peach fans pretend a little too much, with Movie Peach, instead of tell Nintendo to make her sweeter and calmer ( like she is).
Peach fans who say "She was always like this" say it because they are insecure and totally aware Daisy was always pretty tough, tomboyish and athletic, so they want also their girl to be a badass amazon princess and since Nintendo want to put down Daisy they use it in advantage, making Daisy fan doubt she was even a Tomboy at all.
Just because Nintendo is lazy not to give her more tomboyish outfits doesn't mean she isn't!
And last thing: comics. Don't. Count so stop mention super Mario adventures y'all!
I love that they're making her more expressive, I just don't think they had to change her face to do it. Look at Kung-Fu Peach for example, they made her more expressive while keeping her general features the same. The center art on the other hand, now looks a bit out of place compared to the other renders that still use her main model.
How tho
Yeah
also that comment about Peach's 'blocky' nose is so strange since Rosalina and Pauline also have it..
Perfectly said, nothing less and nothing more. The expressions she makes in the back are different but her face is still the one we know, the one in the middle however tweaked all her features, even her nose, and ends up looking like the movie version which im not really fond of design wise (not a fan of that art style FOR THE GAMES), so by comparison its jarring and unnecesary.
The way people can get so worked up over a face is crazy. You're at least being reasonable, but I still don't think it's that big of a deal, and if anything, I honestly like the new face more as it makes her seem more mature.
The redesign is respectable, but to others, the OG design is the true OG.
She literally looks fine in the redesign and people are actually mad-
As a member of a Hazbin Hotel fandom who has seen those redesigns, you guys are complaining about nothing.
Mixed feelings, personally. The new kung-fu expression is excellent and better represents what Peach is actually doing. But the new main expression does not quite suit Peach's default, peachy nature. But I like that they improved the facial features and whatnot.
Same.
I kinda like it. It's different, but overall it's a good change. It feels more expressive.
In the bin with this “default Peachy nature”. She’s been an expressionless nothing for 20-30 years, good to see her being expressed as a strong, determined character that she should be.
She has had expression. You just dislike the expression that has been on display. @@reecey1504
Kung fu? Kung fu Karen more like it.
For me, it’s the fear of her becoming more like her movie self that has me concerned with this design change.
Well the movie version of peach is wayyy Better then game peach so I hope she does be more like movie
@@PixelShiftssI feel like her entire personality in the movie is just a toned down Daisy ngl
@@PixelShiftss Movie peach was the only bad thing about peach.
Finally some common sense people
@@INFERNO95 Movie Peach wasen't that bad
I just don't like Movie Peach's design. I also think that the designs need to stay separate. You don't see Mario Wonder changing all the characters to the movie designs. Why is Showtime different?
It's not that big of a deal..
Very nitpicky are we..
@@jada8047 Not really. I'm not complaining about the design anywhere except on this video. I don't care that much. All I said is that in my personal opinion, the movie design of peach shouldn't be in games. Eitherr way I don't care, I probably wouldn't even have bought the game.
I don't understand what people mean when they say "their changing peach's character"
She's always been this headstrong, intelligent, but a bit aloof woman.some of the earliest media such as the tv shows characterize her like this.also I like the new design.her face has more natural proportions instead of being weirdly long
I am not really a fan of the facial expression change, mainly because of the tone of the game. Princess Peach: Showtime! looks more upbeat. I would think that the expression would fit for a more "moodier" kind of Mario game.
It’s not that it’s a bad redesign, it just looks a little off
It’s mostly just the one in the middle, that lighting is a little wack
The kung fu one looks a little goofy but I kind of like it
And the other two are the exact same
I think the redesign is a perfectly fine choice, the box art just needs a touch-up or two and it’d be great
Interested to see how Twitter is reacting to this, both this video and other people’s announcements.
Only thing I agree with is that her face needed some work sure.
Peoples issue with movie peach was that she was a bland girlboss. Her lack of bubbliness was part of it but literally most her her personality was replaced with “I’m a strong independent leader” (which is an annoying trend right now with female characters) plus Anya Taylor Joy’s voice for peach felt really weird.
Also I don’t think he is being fair to game peach. Like if you only played the mainline games you would think peach was bland. But a lot of the rpg games and spinoff games displayed a lot of her personality. I feel he cherry picked just the ones that didn’t. Seriously people who don’t think she has more personality should read her wiki you would be surprised.
Because of what you said, it does make the redesign look better. The thing is, in the Karate expression, she looks a bit discombobulated. She's like, "Huh? Who are you?"
I just feel if they wanted the masuline vibe thing go for Daisy.
When you can’t accept the fact that a fictional character was changed slightly to look less like a helpless little girl and more like a normal woman. “Erm stop making her ‘masculine’”
@@Irrelevant210how do you think people would react if mario was changed to look more like a normal man ?
@@Irrelevant210 to me its not even that she looks "masculine" because she doesn't. its just that movie peach was generic and they went for that look
What exactly is masculine about a woman who wears a frilly pink dress and essentially plays dress up for her entire game? Peach is still feminine, yall only thing she's "masc" because didn't get kidnapped for once. Peach is the same.
I dont think its a masculinity issue here, the main issue is that the face is overall weird because it resembles the movie version which has a different artstyle to the games. You can see the other Peaches in the back looking normal like Peach does in the games meanwhile the one in the middle suddenly changes her nose, lips and eyes and looks out of place as result.
The true problem is mixing up the movie's artstyle with the games, specially when it only applies to the center Peach as the others look normal therefore its jarring and its undestandable that it gets backlash.
I think the reason that people don’t like it is because of something that Nintendo has said. It’s what the characters are supposed to be. The whole cast of Mario characters is supposed to be like a cartoon, where every episode it’s like the previous episodes never happens, and characters can be whatever they need to be in that situation. That’s why Mario can play tennis and drive go karts, he can stomp on Goombas or teach typing. He can do whatever he needs to. But there are two things that always stay the same; personalities and relationships. Mario is always ready to take on an adventure, Luigi is always scared. Bowser is always the big bad, and peach is the damsel in distress. Obviously this isn’t always true, but that is their normal personality. That’s why it’s weird when bowser works with Mario in Origami King, and when peach is playable in Wonder. Throwing in stuff like that isn’t the problem, but changing her personality seemingly forever is. So even though she was a bland, blocky-faced damsel in distress, that’s what she is supposed to be. And now, it might be going away. But hey, that’s just a theory. A Nintendo theory. Thanks for reading.
I strongly agree. If they were to make them more like their movie versions, it would be an abrupt change. The series was always meant to be like Popeye or classic Mickey Mouse shorts where the characters' roles and story change. Nintendo themselves even said they think of the characters as actors who's roles change every game *(I truly believe myself that the Mario characters are all really just actors and the adventures they go on are really all just movies or stage plays, but then again that's my headcanon).* This is why the Mario series can be as random as they want and no one questions anything; that's just the way things are in the wacky Mushroom Kingdom.
I have to slightly disagree with you about Luigi always being scared and Peach always being a damsel in distress. Even though the majority of the time this is a major part of their personalities, Peach was playable in other games besides Wonder and Luigi is also actually quite brave despite being easily scared.
@@briannawilson8845 I was just using Luigi and Peach as emailed to prove a point. And as I also said, it’s most of the time. Not all the time
@@_J189 I apologize, you're right.
I just realized that I said emailed in my last reply. I have no idea why I didn’t fix it or what it was supposed to say, so it’s there forever now.
Bruh everyone hates peach for being a bland character, she shows some personality and they hate it. Can never please Nintendo fans lmao
im more divided by the weird look of the face and not the expression itself, her nose looks so weird to me..
the shadow under the eyes makes it really uncanny too
1:20 Paper Peachie in Super Paper Mario is running for her life right now.
Lmao
3:43 From what I see, I love how she's portrayed in the games, she still looks like the happy go lucky princess of the games but at the same time, I like the previous box art, with that lifeless grin she always has, it's horribly iconic at this point, probably her resting facial expression.
I personally like both kind of peaches, the bubbly always need to be rescued personality and the new serious human being know what's going on personality. What if...they would combine the two and we'll have a peach we all can enjoy!
Ok, you've convinced me that this is a good change.
Princess Toadstool was always badass from Mario 2 and all the cartoons and media.
The old one is better but the new one is ok too. I think one of the things peach fans admire about her is the way she has looked for so long so it was quite shocking. I mean peach can still show expression and visually look like the peach from the games
On the karate picture, the new design is a big plus bc of the emotion she's able to express with it (but of course we only see her face from a lateral angle, could still be weird with a front view), on the other one however... Ugh. The movie characters all looked a bit off and so does this new Peach model in that picture.
After seeing her movie design this was exactly what I was a little concerned about. Her nose looks more profound and she looks like a despicable ME character. It flat out just doesn't look as good. That being said so far I only hold this opinion for the cover art of the game.
It feels like when they publish a book with production photos from a movie adaptation.
Peach's new desing is good but the only thing that rubs me the wrong way is the lipstick because the big lips are a core part of her desing imo.
The redesign looks great, makes her look like movie Peach
I think that’s most people’s problem with it
Exactly i hate the way movie peach looks
@@Xile179 but why tho

@@Batminem0Looks worse. The nose is more profound and she looks like a despicable ME character.
Honestly, I'm fine with this box art change. HOWEVER, I don't think people shoulden't be hating on the game just because of the box art.
honestly i feel like they tried to bite off of daisy to make her have more personality. daisys my favourite and seeing that peach finally isnt being a damsel every five seconds is pretty cool.
They shifted her eyebrows. That's literally it. People will get triggered by everything.
1:11 Jokes on them, they established that personality in the 1980s with the super mario bros super show.
I think this change makes Peach have more expression
She actually has LESS expression.
In my opinion, I agree with you. Peach needed that facial expression. Now we have a more human like Peach that I personally really think we needed.
The one in the middle was clearly changed to resemble movie Peach possibly to use it as a marketing ploiy, meanwhile Karate Peach uses her actual face with a different expression, theres the difference. I also heavily disagree with her nose being ''better'' when its rounder because Peach's features are meant to be more sophisticated but slightly sharp, meanwhile rounder features are used for more upbeat and energetic characters and thats why Daisy has a rounder nose which is one of the features that puts her apart from Peach in facial design.
4:30 THAT'S WHAT I FOUND OFF! I never even knew she had eyebrows, and now that you pointed it out, that's definitely the problem I had with it, and now it's been gracefully resolved knowing she always had eyebrows...
I like og peach better
Idc about if she looks blan
*bland*, but understandable

The changes are honestly great!
This is a smart move, we are all used to the same: “oh wow, ya!” Peach look. Now that it is changing more like the movie, it is showing the new dependent, and powerful Mushroom Kingdom Princess. It look cool!😎
But the new peach isn't peach she's daisy or samus wearing peach's dress. The other characters get to be faithful to themselves i don't get why peach can't.
@@Guy-cb1oh I agree with you, but maybe Nintendo wants some character growth for Peach. And who is to say that a new face changes her personality. Ya know?
I think that the more I look at her new face, the more that I'm ok with it. In my mind, tweaking her design a bit for a spin off game doesn't necessarily mean they'll do it for the main line games.
It does make me wonder if they're going to tweak her face in the game as well though. It would be pretty weird to change it on the box art but not the actual gameplay. But that's just me.
The design is really good, i love it but the reason why im sort of sad is because that the old one is very iconic. However, this wont effect my enjoyment of the game, or will i care. Its just a slight change to a characters
I feel like this characterization of the opposing viewpoint is really surface-level. I like the changes, but I understand why people might not like it. It’s a break from a particular artistic tradition of how Peach has been drawn for decades, and people grow attached to tradition.
I feel like if you say anything about this, you’re just exposing yourself for being a basement dweller. The fact people think that making Peach look less like a always-happy little girl princess and look more like a normal woman is a bad thing, is insane. I understand people are exhausted of “girl boss” or independent woman characters now due to so many of these characters being super boring in movies and things, but freaking out over just a change in Peach’s face is dumb, and calling it a “masculine” look is even worse.
“Is Nintendo woke now?!”
literally she has face expressions in Smash Bros lmao
i think a good compromise is the old face style with the new explessions. the old eyebrows nose lips eyes but just a new expression. that fixes everyones complaints.
My point exactly
Yeah!! Peach should be allowed to have more varying emotions, and she can still be feminine while doing so. Those things aren't mutually exclusive.
I can’t believe that peach got plastic surgery!

@@jakeystarsuper I don't think we need to be logical, Jakey. It's all about taste and expectations. If you liked Peach in the movie that's fine, I'm glad. I liked her well enough, but to me she seemed a bit off-brand. I'm sure you can acknowledge my right to feeling that way about her character. I'll take she's not precisely like Daisy, it was an hyperbole on my part, and just to state my point that she didn't feel like Peach to me (emphasis in "to me"). Again, we're discussing an adaptation of a character, and Illumination might have their reasons for the change, but it's not hard science or data or something logical we need to discuss about it. You can share, if you want, the things that you liked about Peach, and I can discuss the things I didn't, and I'm sure we can find common ground (as, like I said, I liked her well enough)... or not and that's fine too, right?
If this can make the conversation flow better I can take back my Daisy comparison. You might be right that she's not really like her. She's not like Peach to me either, though. Again, there's something off about her, but if you loved her that's cool too.

When people thought the Mario Movie’s success wouldn’t affect the game, we were totally blindsided by this change. For me personally it’s not a big deal, but there was nothing wrong with the original boxart and in case anyone didn’t know it’s for regional releases of the game, it’s kinda like American/Japanese Kirby but not really since Japan will also get the updated Boxart.
I think the model is fine, I just dont like who they are changing her character. It would possible to give her more emotion and expression without changing her character, but it seems like they aren't doing that. But hey, it could be worse. A lot worse.
Regarding the poster, I think karate peach's expression is fine. It fits with the karate vibe.
They fixed her face, but now that you mention her movie version yeah it wasn't the real Peach we grew up with
Thank you so much complainanting on Princess Daisy Nin10doland, cause she’s my favorite Mario character, and I agree about her personality🤩

Ik people will say she looks the same. You know how some people are really good at pointing when celebrities get cosmetic changes or Botox? Same situation here. Some people aren’t able to tell and think she looks the same but others are very good at spotting new things
It's not even like the slight change on PPS boxart Peach's face will reflect the artstyle of the game itself. What we saw of how Peach looked in the Direct is most likely what we're getting and I don't see any issues there. Lol.
Also, if Mario, Luigi, etc are allowed to be more expressive now more than ever, why is Peach the exception all of a sudden? XD
Because that makes her """woke""" apparently 🤦
5:53 I definitely don't mind the change all too much... But I do find they need to make a bit of a balance between the calm of Roselina, and the Lively behavior of Daisy, as Peach has always kinda been presented as the middle ground, even if at times she does exhibit even less character than the stoic space princess...
2:27 No, no... You're not alone in that... That's nearly everyone's feelings.

I'm just glad I wasn't the only one who completely hated it. I mean it won't change much, but still.
Yeah I admit that the new one seems better. When I compare to the original, I feel like the original's face is too oval and weird with the big open mouth, I dunno it just feels weird.
But I really do think Nintendo's making a mistake by wanting to make Peach fight. You say that she always get kidnapped and is always helpless.
Well that's not always true. In the first two Paper Mario games, Peach gets kidnapped, but she's not helpless. In fact, she has a big role in Mario's progress as, despite not being able to fully escape, she can escape her room to spy on Bowser or whoever is kidnapping her and send info to Mario.
I think this is the route they should take with Peach. Still get kidnapped and not be able to fight back, but having her own set of skills to help the cast. Like her stealth, kindness and her great intelligence (that last one fits her because she's a ruler who has to take the important decisions), like in the first two Paper Mario games.
To me, this is the best Peach depiction because the games that make her fight don't make much sense. If she can fight just as well as Mario, then why doesn't she just free herself ?
And this depiction of her that can't fight could also fit when she's not kidnapped. During a crisis, she could stay cold-headed and make the right decisions. Come up with the plan to fix everything that Mario and the rest of the cast would then put into motion.
I would really like to see more of this Peach, a Peach who brings her own unique set of skills to the table, not just "she can fight like the rest of the cast", and truly flesh out her character using elements that make sense.
But it's Nintendo we're talking about, it's never gonna happen in the games they make themselves, and I doubt Princess Peach Showtime will truly do something interesting with her personality.
What did they do to my girl!
Stopping kids from saying “first”

That's inevitable bro 😔
I think the idea of changing her design and making her more expressive is more than ok, her character would benefit a lot from that, but _this_ model just isn't it. It looks really off place, without mentioning the lighting and shading on her face looks so wrong now.

I 100% agree with you. When I saw the updated cover in comparison, I immediately thought it looked better with Peach being more expressive. I understand some may prefer the original because she looks cuter with the cheery look, but I feel the expressions just bring out more personality in her hyping the game up as a big adventure. It reminds me of how the Japanese covers for Kirby games show the titular character being cute while in the American versions give him angry expressions to add some edge to him.
The Mario movie inspired them for sure. A movie is a movie Nintendo, changing iconic character sprites is a sin

Yes
Imagine being so privileged, that something like this bothers you 😂
I don’t like how her expression makes her look more like an “attitude girl with the crossed arms” instead of her sweet personality which I personally favor. I don’t like that she’s a damsel in most games but her personality doesn’t have to change
I don't understand why does Peach have to changed so drastically to be "more human"now i feel like they gave her imposter syndrome, nobody asked for Peach to be a whole different character...
There was literally nothing wrong with the way she was I just wanted her to have more agency like not getting kidnapped by Bowser anymore because it's gross. I wish they would have just let Peach be her self.
Movie Peach looks more like a soccer mom
Hahaha a bit XD
The peach art seems fine to me. I like the expressiveness.
peach did need this and I feel the design will help in the future games
I mean. When peach in the movie is not figjting or trying to prove something. She is bubbly. It's still part of her personality.
As a woman & fan of you, I’m incredibly disappointed in this change & also in this video. Peach was literally one of the most expressive characters of the mario crew before & just because you guys can’t identify with her hyper feminine and super girly characteristics and demeanor doesn’t make her have ‘less personality’. Daisy is the ‘’cool’’ and ‘’tough’’ one of the Mario girls and GUESS WHAT! Peach & Daisy are equally as powerful and unique for their exact characterizations! This was clearly changed to appeal to a specifically male audience who would originally says those exact scrutinizing things about Princess Peach like that she’s bland just because they don’t get her. Guess what? A Mario, a Waluigi and heck even a Donkey Kong is somewhat bland to me & many Peach fans as well, because we don’t see ourselves in those characters as much!
I love how much expression Nintendoland finally had it was amazing
I think the problem with Peach in the Movie was that she felt More Daisy than Peach, not that she was masculine
Even dasiy isn't girl boss victory win
We lobe dasiy because she's just living her life
How is peach like daisy? Again i seen no logical argument to people who said this.
Movie peach is just more serious
Daisy is not that serious and shes not a warrior like movie peach is
It really was a pointless change. The movie should have conformed to the characters from the game if anything not the other way around.
She transformed from the helpless character you have to save in the games to a disney princess that is the main character.
I personally love Peach's slightly redesigned face because it gives her more character. And Nintendo also gave her teeth because in the previous Mario games she never had visible teeth so I'm glad Nintendo fixed that problem!
It's funny cause it's just the boxart, which is heavily influenced by marketing purposes. It's trying to sell to the Mario Movie audiences. But the game will still remain the same with the classic Peach model, which makes everything fine in the long run to be honest, making this issue just a very current thing.
However, I think some people would see this as misguiding the consumer in some way later on.
Ironic.

I think more personality is never a bad idea, i think Peach as a character has a lot of potential, i played bowsers inside Story and peach could just defeat him with one punch in that game, peach was always strong, she was caring and all sure, but i think it is a good idea to give her more to do then getting kidnaped. Like her backstory. Who are her parents. Why is a human ruling over the toads ? In the paper Mario games she had a lot of personality. People did like that. So if the game is good i will not complain. Personality can be a good thing. Why not. Unless it is very bad. But i think Nintendo knows what they are doing.
Paper princess peach has a lot of personality in fact it's almost a combination of normal peach and movie peach
I’m pretty confident in saying now that the next 10 years of Mario as a franchise will mirror the movie designs.
I might preorder Showtime when the day is closer to its release.
This is why I don't like watching people's opinionated videos......
People are so afraid of change it’s crazy. I bet if this was how peach always looked and people got a glimpse of OG peach they would hate it
Honestly I love Peach's new facial design for Princess Peach Showtime! as it shows how much Nintendo is not afraid to take that big step into trying something new.
1:40 We're just not exactly used to Peach having a soul and all that... I mean, she's always been the soulless husk damsel in distress template, Daisy is the tough independent hero princess... Peach has always been the opposite to Mario in that way like Luigi is to Daisy...
I feel like they could have given Peach more expression without making her look like a the slightly less cool Daisy...
But then again, I've never seen the movie and I don't think I'm gonna get to play the game, so I'm probably wrong about it all and it may very well be that they kept how peach seems like she would act while making her a competent heroic character...
When the line is drawn at a facial expression, you must ask yourself if it worth being angry at
