He came to my house in St. Paul once. He was friends with one of my roommates. I had no idea who he was. We ended up talking and I was good friends with his cousin kellen, who had passed a few years prior to meeting CJ. I found out CJ passed a few months after the tragedy. He was such a nice dude. Very humble.
