Hi from the UK. Thanks for all of your content. I have a quick question for you. I very recently was able to pick up a genuine secondhand Dv1 base gun for very little money. I notice you always seem to set your gun to 14-15 psi regardless of the aircap. Everything I've seen, including the Devilbiss site states that the B plus should operate at 1.5 bar (22 psi)? It does seem to be quite dry at that pressure, but I don't know if I dare to drop the pressure as much as half a bar?
Go ahead and give it a try, I still have people with success with a little bit higher psi, but I’ve always had great success between 14 to 16 psi, less air more fluid smoother finish
@PaintSociety I'll give it a go tomorrow. I'm currently spraying metallic silver on my car. Never really done any spraying before, so it's all a steep learning curve for me. Many thanks for replying 🙂.
