Such a shame...if you watch all of these interviews, several of them mention the fact that they still had all 9 original members and how proud they were of that. I feel like losing Joey is something they'll all regret sooner or later.
Jordan Dansereau Actually, I wanna clarify something. I didn't really know about SlipKnoT until after Paul died, but I still recognized how awful it must've been for SlipKnoT and Paul's family. As the years passed and I started to listen to SlipKnoT more and more, I really started to appreciate Paul. It's easy for bands to say how awesome their fallen comrades are, but I can tell SlipKnoT aren't exaggerating when they say how loving Paul was. They'll never be the same without Paul, but the very essence of SlipKnoT will always exist..... R.I.P Paul
Perhaps, but then again, we might never know for sure. Joey's out of the picture, Paul's dead, and they still put out a #1 album using a different rhythm section, so I don't know if "regret" is the right word to use. if the band can carry on and continue to enjoy a certain level of success with album and concert ticket sales, there might not be any regret to speak of. For a monster drummer like Joey to get kicked out of a band he founded, one can only conclude he must've committed a major fuck-up to get to that point. It might have been something that was building for a while for all we know, and the rest of Slipknot got to the point where they couldn't look the other way anymore. I'm willing to bet Joey had something majorly dysfunctional going on that his chops as a drummer and overall musician could no longer outweigh. That said, I hope he gets his act together and comes back to music in some capacity, but with his ouster from Slipknot, the demise of The Murderdolls, and Scar The Martyr losing its singer, plus whatever personal issues he has, who's to say?
if you look at any interview with joey he's so passionate about slipknot the way he talks about slipknot, you can tell how proud it makes him and how happy he is doing it.
Later on you could see how heart broken he was to be dropped like that Paul And Joey were Slipknot to me it’s just another kiss story not even with replacements can make you sound or feel like the originals sad but true.
Just because he is speaking good about his band doesn't make him arrogant... There is absolutely nothing wrong about telling people how awesome your band is.

Slipknot is his baby essentially. I think he's earned the right to unashamedly proud of his work with the band. And really back in the day when Slipknot first exploded no one can deny Joey was the reason they were so unique. I'm no homer here, can think of tones of drummers I prefer but I give this bloke credit where it's due.
the 9 of them r why they were so unique. Chris is what caught my attention but that was just the physical representation, having 3 drummers is REALLY what made them unique.
What kind of fans do you guys call yourselves? A few years ago you were all saying how Joey was one of the best drummers and how extremely talented he was... and now he's an arrogant prick? First thing is first: HE DID NOT LEAVE SLIPKNOT, they kicked him out for who knows what reason. And second: Even if he did leave slipknot, as fans we should all be supportive and respect his decision and not be like: "Oh joey left the band, he fucking sucks" because he is and always will be awesome, being in slipknot or not.
Apparently it was a contract violation; I'm not sure how amicable it happened but that's the reason I heard. We'll know the real reason soon enough, hopefully.
JuliehPeglegs Yeah, I heard it was something like that. Supposedly because he started another band and somehow violated the contract, but some are also saying it was because his sudden heavy use of drugs and alcohol is getting outta control, and that's why he's so fat. But we can't be too sure yet until they speak out.
There's alot to suggest that Joey is still heavily on drugs, and since Paul died the band just doesn't want to see another person succcumb to the same things Paul did. There's a reason to why all of them really try to keep everything civil, and there's a reason to why the drummer isn't permanently replaced. If Joey sobers up he'll have his seat back.

I'm pretty sure we were together during this interview. He just came in from Austin. Just finished the USA part of the tour. He was getting ready to go to Europe with ministry. He looks at me surprised and said "holy shit I've forgotten about that!". I love you Joey. You'll Always be my king 👑 I'll never love anyone like that again.
As fans, ask yourself, is it the music or the image that matters, I’ll miss Joey, jay is a great new addition, I’ll absolutely miss Chris, and god tortilla man looks and acts so stupid, but is more musically talented
I always get nostalgic when he says all nine original members we fans should be grateful that we have footage to be able to revisit the past anytime we want ya know
Joey jordison isn't touring USA, but they have played in USA. And when i read about Gorgoroth, It was wrote that Joey played drums when they was in USA. I don't know if it's true, but i believe it is.
Joey didn't leave slipknot, they kicked him out. Corey said in an interview that he is just a completely different person than the rest of them and he didn't talk to anyone in the band in months. He also said joey just wasn't going in the direction slipknot wanted to go so they let him go in the most respectful way possible.
The message is that there are too many kids nowadays that are going through some serious issues (depression, bullying, etc) and have no support from friends and family, so they turn to bands that understand that, like Slipknot. Try reading the lyrics to a song like Pulse of the Maggots, or watching the interview that Corey recently did with YoungMinds. Slipknot isn't all violence and hate. Every one of them is musically talented, but it's the lyrical content that really speaks to the fans. ^_^
@Jartny its an interview..they are actually like that..they're like showing the interviewed person from different angles...and to me it looks kinda cool cuz it will be very boring for it just to be one camera angle and not moving or anything...its like showing a drumset and not playing it...
"All nine of us are still together."

I love when he said that about having sometimg in common with everyone who loves their music/bought the album...
As fans, ask yourself, is it the music or the image that matters, I’ll miss Joey, jay is a great new addition, I’ll absolutely miss Chris, and god tortilla man looks and acts so stupid, but is more musically talented
This is my favourite male voice. I can listen to him non-stop 😍
My bro Joey Jordison.
thank you sir
Man I miss him so much in Slipknot🥺🖤
i would love to see anyone get on stage an do it like they did in 1999, not gonna happen
He never really recovered after they kicked him out.
Rest in peace legend! we will never forget you Joey
Farewell, King
rest in peace my love.
I always get nostalgic when he says all nine original members we fans should be grateful that we have footage to be able to revisit the past anytime we want ya know
And now he’s gone 💔😭😭
Rip the goat #1 🖤
Joey jordison isn't touring USA, but they have played in USA. And when i read about Gorgoroth, It was wrote that Joey played drums when they was in USA.
I don't know if it's true, but i believe it is.
Joey didn't leave slipknot, they kicked him out. Corey said in an interview that he is just a completely different person than the rest of them and he didn't talk to anyone in the band in months. He also said joey just wasn't going in the direction slipknot wanted to go so they let him go in the most respectful way possible.
What interview?

Joey started scare the martyr because he was ready to write music for slipknot but the other members didn't want to start writing yet
In terms of not talking, I don't think Craig has talked at all.
They emailed him whilst he was in hospital with transverse myelitis...doesn't sound like it was all that respectful to me...
that's passion. not anger
Slipnkot rock... and thank you for all these vids :] btw here's a dumb question for ya... can anybody say where their name comes from?
The message is that there are too many kids nowadays that are going through some serious issues (depression, bullying, etc) and have no support from friends and family, so they turn to bands that understand that, like Slipknot. Try reading the lyrics to a song like Pulse of the Maggots, or watching the interview that Corey recently did with YoungMinds. Slipknot isn't all violence and hate. Every one of them is musically talented, but it's the lyrical content that really speaks to the fans. ^_^
slipknot has been getting better and better over the years. i hope they keep it up.
@Jartny its an interview..they are actually like that..they're like showing the interviewed person from different angles...and to me it looks kinda cool cuz it will be very boring for it just to be one camera angle and not moving or anything...its like showing a drumset and not playing it...
I hope the interviewer finally KNOWS 😃. Joey, you're unbelievable! ❤❤❤
