- NEW MOVIE WORLD RIDES - Flash Speed Force, Wizard of Oz Land and more! Movie World Gold Coast Update! Warner Bros. Movie World is a Theme Park on the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia!
Join us as we pop in to the park during the late afternoon on a beautiful Autumn day during the April holidays. We check out progress on Flash Speed Force, the upcoming new Movie World Roller Coaster, as well as construction on the upcoming Wizard of Oz land, which has had some great progress - BARNS!
We also check out DC Rivals, Superman Escape and much more - including the replacement for Scoob 4D - Tom & Jerry 4D!
Wizard of Oz is Movie World's new land, opening late 2024. It will have a lot of theming, and two new Roller Coasters: Flight of the Wicked Witch, and Kansas Twister! One is a Vekoma suspended family coaster, while the other is a Vekoma Dueling Family Coaster.

I went to movie world on Thursday and I went on dc rivals backwards, you could see the whole layout for the flight of the wicked witch and Kansas racer. It was sick! You could also see the whole out lining of the station for the Kansas racer
That's awesome! I sadly can't ride Rivals at the moment, so it's great hearing what Oz is like from up there!

Movie world said to expect a opening date for the flash very soon somewhere on TikTok but I can’t remember.

I went today to go on the green lantern but it was under maintenance.
For some reason Everytime I go there, that ride is always under maintenance
Dang that sucks. GL is very unreliable and frequently goes down sadly

Yup, went on the same day! I'd say Dreamworld is a better overall package, especially for families. Movie World has the better lineup of thrill rides though!
I love the first comment just missed the parade, if you had been there 30 sec earlier you would have seen the whole thing it’s pathetic getting smaller and smaller why bother.
Yeah, it felt particularly short that day. Need to work on that!

@@TV.15 haha, don't remember too much but I somehow dropped my shoe into the water getting out of the boat! It ended up with a trip to First Aid, so maybe I fell over or something. Was back in the late 90's!
