I have a 2006 Charger RT and bought those same energizer suspension diff bushings . They look apart from the oem ones that I’m removing. Box says for an “LX” will these fit my RT?
I wish I'd of seen this before swapping everything!!! Thanx for this! What kind of jack is that you used for the diff? BTW......my prothane kit did not come with any washers so i found out quick how important they are!!
So you have to remove your exhaust in order to drop your differential if you have cars like us I have a Chrysler 300 that's piped up and I need to change my differential
Следующие под замену опоры. Их видимо тоже надо укрепить? Потом думаю вырвет мотор с подрамника. А все из-за шайб которые не предусмотрены заводом изготовителем. 👍🏻
Hey Gibson currently in the process of installing the carrier bushing and can barely get two threads going on the bolt you said 1-2 should be enough and once you get everything tightened up you should be able to get it in farther?
@@GibsonGarage awesome thanks a lot Gibson I legit used your video for the whole process and my 06 dodge charger rt is running a 100x better I’m still getting some shift clunk from park to reverse but it could be I only replaced the carrier bushing and not the 2 diff bushings I’ll have to go back and do that since I couldn’t get the 4 frame bolts to come down. Definitely earned my sub only video on this out there thanks again tho
you just need a 36mm socket to take off the pinion nut and a 3 arm pulley puller. Slip on the new yoke, get a NEW pinion nut from the dealer and torque it to spec. If you have a getrag lsd diff the spec is 180ft pounds… not sure about the open diffs off the top of my head.
Videos are very helpful

Wow those engine mounts... :D But good to know, those bushing kits need some fixing to fit perfect.
For sure!

My motor mounts were both broke in half doing same thing last summer. Mine is awd but same concept
I’m doing Motor mounts and Tranny mounts next week. I have the same car

Hey man so you sanded down an 1/8th of and inch of the bushing to get them to squish and just reassembled, and installed ?
@@greedyboyctb I sanded down the metal sleeve but yes

Wanting to buy energy bushing kit for the same car. What do you think of them a year later. I just don't want to regrease them every 2 years.

Yeah, the nut did stay still for me without the use of a tool on top

Hey bro what’s that piece or part with the Allen wrench bit or start bit
The bolt 🔩 needs an Allen wrench
How did you get the two bushings out of the subframe? What tool did you use? Mine are really in their.
I have another series of videos on the whole rear subframe in the "Magnum" folder on my channel
Have you done any videos on changing the pinion yoke flare on the differential
Nope

Did the back bushings just sit in there or did you have to hammer them in
Some light tapping was needed
