Slide indicator towards back of car and lift front edge, it will pop out. They are designed to come out easily so you can change bulbs.

Probably a lot easier to remove the fender liner and to push the blinker out from behind.

At the end, the whole enterprise wasn't worth the pain, new led indicators seem so tiny and dim, from a safety point of view I think they're completely wrong 🤔
