One take, love it, that intro would have took me 10 minutes! Hacking through the dense woodland, yes, that would be me lol. That bench was a gift from the Gods, whoever put that there deserves a medal, what a view and what a perfect place for a picnic. I thought Mark did a real good job on the navigation, my toys would have been right out of the pram, as soon as I got muddled and no wonder his young lass was tiring after almost 22 miles of walking in two days, I was feeling faint just thinking about it 😳. Loved the bloopers at the end, so, even the pros do not get it right first time - who knew! Cheers Alan
Thanks so much Alan! Yes we did over walk them, was so excited to show them around! They did get to see puffins, gannets, razorbills and seals which was a first for them but we did clock up the miles in doing so! To be fair, we also enjoyed lots of fish and chips, cakes, scones and beverages so they weren’t too hard done to! It was nice to leave the navigation to someone else for a change and even if i suspected we were going wrong i just left him to it! Its a very easy device to use and has helped us out enormously in the last two years. Of late ive really felt relieved if my energy is tiring on a walk i know the Gtrex will help find me a cheat to finish sooner! Have an awesome week! Love Nick and Jill ♥️

We’ve had two situations in our hiking lifetime that we are lucky to have survived, both times smartphones wouldn’t help, but this device would have guaranteed our safety instead of sheer luck! Wow. This is an interesting gear. I have heard a lot about it but have used it. Definitely a useful gadget for long hiking trips when usually our smart phone batteries run out of charge. It's wonderful to see you using these creative things in your vlogs, makes it more interesting. And yes another great place for adventure. Enjoy your time out there guys

I’ve never used a GPS device. I can see the appeal to having it one, especially if your in an area with no phone signal. A beautiful area for hiking, the picnic spot looked amazing 🤩
thank you so much Rachel, its definitely an essential bit of kit if your going to be out somewhere longer than your smartphone battery will last. prolonged use, the cold, trying to use it at max brightness on a sunny day, are all sure fire ways of killing your smartphone! when its icy we always head to the fells, at those times there is nothing else you can rely on! Absolutely right Alistair, its one of our favourite benches that overlooks Robin Hoods Bay,had some lovely memories there, with friends and family both close and departed. It was nice to work it into a video. The Garmin is a lifechanger, i know smartphone’s have some incredible apps on them and work well when fully charged, but freezing temperatures, hill fog and blizzards can quickly render them useless. They are worth a thought as backup for your very well packed bag! Xx

All the maps are preloaded and you can ask it to list all the places around you at any time and then have it find the best paths to get there. Maps are great but dense hill fog can render a map useless pretty quick! Definitely worth a look! 👍

Bit of a tongue in cheek review but we have been using the Garmin Gtrex 32X for almost two years now. After two occasions whereby we had nearly fatal hiking experiences, once in dense hill fog and the other on a mountain whiteout, we knew we needed something to rely on. There are definitely instances that can occur that no map, compass or smartphone can save you from. After the second such event we scrambled to find this beautiful bit of kit and it has never let us down! What my old bones are particularly enjoying at the moment is its ability to cut hikes short! Set out on a 12 mile hike last weekend which I was regretting at the 8 mile mark and the Etrex delightfully shaved 2 miles off so i could nurse my wounds and start my night sooner! Worth it just for that!

Good choice! they are so great, they balance the perfect line across functionality and affordable. after two near death hiking experiences we knew we had to invest in something better. the Garmin GPX handheld beats any map or smartphone on any hike. we wouldn’t leave home without it! thanks for watching guys ♥️🐢

they are really handy! Garmin would preload all the Topo Australian maps which are really detailed! the real advantage is being able to easily see the screen on a bright day for 25 hours constant use!

I suppose given that you both have smartphones with decent batteries there are so many awesome apps that do a great job at tracking your location, even without a signal. The second these come into their own is in bad weather like dense hill fog or sub zero whiteouts, at that point they become life savers! gosh we really pushed Mimi, bless her, it was quite a lot of hiking in just a few days! im glad to see the skipping is rubbing off, have noticed it several times on your delightful channel now! hope you have an awesome week. cheers to the good times! ♥️🍻
Looked like a great walk guys, plenty of varied terrain. The garmin looks a good one, I bought a cheap gps64 years ago. Its been brilliant. Saved me from getting lost many times 😄 I loaded some free maps from a site called talkytoaster (think it's called that?) And the maps are brilliant with good detail...and free 👍 your unit looks great as its quite pocketable, loved the tunes and dancing...and the outtakes 😆, nice one guys. atb Mick 👍

thanks, yeah this was a bit of a silly one, we put “our direction” in his hands, its a great device though. its just recently kept us on track at times when the path would be very confusing in Switzerland and Italy. it’s definitely paid for itself time and time again! ♥️ 🇺🇸

Pretty soon you will have everyone in your country swooping ! I like the stomp near the end though. And your camera crashing down in the wind, that is painful and has happened to me as well. 😬
im sure that stomp will take off! amazingly the camera sort of still works for even though it smashed down twice face first, the lens cover is busted and it takes longer to focus! its really annoying as was using a heavy duty tripod and on the second occasion had weighted down the support beam. im guessing no matter what this is something we’ll all unfortunately experience again! have an amazing week! 👍

Ah yes the 32x i remember that well, it was like a toilet seat that sits on top of the mega drive! Also had a jaguar at that time, it only had one good game AVP! Happy times xx

That was soooo funny, Mark needs to be on the TV! Nick it's no wonder you couldn't stop laughing at him in the product review and bloopers. He's hilarious 😄 That was nice having him and Mimi with you both. I loved the best bench in Yorkshire view. You were right about the lambs loving that view too. Aww the punk ducks were cute and I loved that old church. Poor Mimi though, making her do the swoop and walk 22 miles when she thought she was going to yours for a break 😃hehe that was so good. Diolch Anna and Alf! ♥️ 🏴 im pretty bad talking on camera full-stop, but Mark really cracked me up, he is a natural! I do feel bad for Mimi, we might have walked her a little too far. In our defence we did introduce them to puffins, seals, gannets, razorbills whilst partaking in lovely fish, chips and cake! They are both wonderful sports though, i was oblivious to Mimi swooping or Mark stomping until i started the edit after they left! 😂

I’ve never used a GPS device. I can see the appeal to having it one, especially if your in an area with no phone signal.
A beautiful area for hiking, the picnic spot looked amazing 🤩
thank you so much Rachel, its definitely an essential bit of kit if your going to be out somewhere longer than your smartphone battery will last. prolonged use, the cold, trying to use it at max brightness on a sunny day, are all sure fire ways of killing your smartphone! when its icy we always head to the fells, at those times there is nothing else you can rely on! Absolutely right Alistair, its one of our favourite benches that overlooks Robin Hoods Bay,had some lovely memories there, with friends and family both close and departed. It was nice to work it into a video. The Garmin is a lifechanger, i know smartphone’s have some incredible apps on them and work well when fully charged, but freezing temperatures, hill fog and blizzards can quickly render them useless. They are worth a thought as backup for your very well packed bag! Xx

@@OutOnTrail Mike 🤣, its the last few weeks of this terrible vocal audio, mic inbound and reviews are suggesting it might even surpass the quality of the duck! The duck was very directional, if you didn’t speak directly into the beak it was radio silence!

All the maps are preloaded and you can ask it to list all the places around you at any time and then have it find the best paths to get there. Maps are great but dense hill fog can render a map useless pretty quick! Definitely worth a look! 👍

The Garmin looks a great bit of kit 👍 25 hours on time is a winner and being water proof too of course definitely a good buy if you like electronic navigation 🧭

Bit of a tongue in cheek review but we have been using the Garmin Gtrex 32X for almost two years now. After two occasions whereby we had nearly fatal hiking experiences, once in dense hill fog and the other on a mountain whiteout, we knew we needed something to rely on. There are definitely instances that can occur that no map, compass or smartphone can save you from. After the second such event we scrambled to find this beautiful bit of kit and it has never let us down! What my old bones are particularly enjoying at the moment is its ability to cut hikes short! Set out on a 12 mile hike last weekend which I was regretting at the 8 mile mark and the Etrex delightfully shaved 2 miles off so i could nurse my wounds and start my night sooner! Worth it just for that!

Not gonna lie, I love Garmin, I have a watch from them and honestly, probably my bike computer will also be Garmin. Nice to see that you guys also test something from my "favourite" gadget creator :)
Good choice! they are so great, they balance the perfect line across functionality and affordable. after two near death hiking experiences we knew we had to invest in something better. the Garmin GPX handheld beats any map or smartphone on any hike. we wouldn’t leave home without it! thanks for watching guys ♥️🐢

they are really handy! Garmin would preload all the Topo Australian maps which are really detailed! the real advantage is being able to easily see the screen on a bright day for 25 hours constant use!

Now we don’t use anything like this, which probably explains why we get lost constantly! It looks good. What is the use of a nice clear path if you can’t skip on it I say!! Great moves. I suppose given that you both have smartphones with decent batteries there are so many awesome apps that do a great job at tracking your location, even without a signal. The second these come into their own is in bad weather like dense hill fog or sub zero whiteouts, at that point they become life savers! gosh we really pushed Mimi, bless her, it was quite a lot of hiking in just a few days! im glad to see the skipping is rubbing off, have noticed it several times on your delightful channel now! hope you have an awesome week. cheers to the good times! ♥️🍻

Looked like a great walk guys, plenty of varied terrain. The garmin looks a good one, I bought a cheap gps64 years ago. Its been brilliant. Saved me from getting lost many times 😄 I loaded some free maps from a site called talkytoaster (think it's called that?) And the maps are brilliant with good detail...and free 👍 your unit looks great as its quite pocketable, loved the tunes and dancing...and the outtakes 😆, nice one guys. atb Mick 👍

thanks, yeah this was a bit of a silly one, we put “our direction” in his hands, its a great device though. its just recently kept us on track at times when the path would be very confusing in Switzerland and Italy. it’s definitely paid for itself time and time again! ♥️ 🇺🇸

Pretty soon you will have everyone in your country swooping ! I like the stomp near the end though. And your camera crashing down in the wind, that is painful and has happened to me as well. 😬
im sure that stomp will take off! amazingly the camera sort of still works for even though it smashed down twice face first, the lens cover is busted and it takes longer to focus! its really annoying as was using a heavy duty tripod and on the second occasion had weighted down the support beam. im guessing no matter what this is something we’ll all unfortunately experience again! have an amazing week! 👍

Ah yes the 32x i remember that well, it was like a toilet seat that sits on top of the mega drive! Also had a jaguar at that time, it only had one good game AVP! Happy times xx

@@no_soy_rubio yeah it really does, i manage a couple of hours on a Sunday night but thats it. Love the retro stuff, we have a couple of cabinets and a lot of the old LCD retro vintage games. But we just look at them and admire how pretty they are, seldom play them!
