We moved from Memphis because of the increasing crime levels and general deterioration of the city infrastructure.
We only visit to see family and friends.

My boyfriend lost his wallet twice in Memphis. He got it back both times with nothing missing. He's got one with a chain now lol. Most Memphians are very kind and friendly, and every city has crime.

Memphis isn't a bad city, need improvement in law enforcement, Strong Mayor like judge Joe Brown, and infrastructure

I’d say the city of Memphis is a little better off than the city of Jackson. Memphis has maintained itself as a tourist destination and in protects those aspects. Jackson unfortunately hasn’t done as well, because it doesn’t have anything like Beale St or Graceland to bring outside money in. I do think both cities are improving, largely thanks to a lot of outside investment coming in to their surrounding areas. -Jared
