“Thomas and Lincoln Get Tricked: Part 2”. The story continues. Gordon and Lori had put their plan into motion, by dragging Thomas, Lincoln, Dorothy, Toto, Dora and Boots behind the Express along the Main Line. “Come on! Keep up!” puffed Gordon to the coaches. “Trickety-trock! Trickety-trock!” sang Lori. The train went faster and faster. Too fast for Thomas, Lincoln, Dorothy, Toto, Dora and Boots! They wanted to stop, but they couldn't! "STOP, STOP!" screamed Thomas and Boots. "TOO FAST, TOO FAST!" added Dorothy. The Express went through the tunnel. “Hurry, hurry, hurry!” laughed Gordon. "MUST BE ON TIME, MUST BE ON TIME!" chanted Lori. "You can’t get away, you can't get away!" laughed the coaches.
Poor Thomas and his friends were going faster than they had ever gone before. And as they were dragged across the Viaduct, screaming all the way, they were out of breath and Thomas' wheels hurt him, but he and his friends HAD to go on. “This is too much!” Lincoln cried out. “Even for me!” “I shall never be the same again!” thought Thomas, sadly. “My wheels will be quite worn out!” “Express coming through!” rumbled Gordon, as the train continued to rocket down the line. At last, they stopped at Wellsworth Station. "Perfect, we're right on schedule." smiled Lori. "Oh, yes!" beamed Gordon.
Soon, Thomas and his friends were uncoupled, and they felt very silly and exhausted. Lori watched smugly as Thomas and the gang reversed into the station yards. Next, they went onto the turntable, thinking of everyone laughing at them. And then, they went onto a siding, out of the way. “Did you and your buddies enjoy your little trip, Lincoln?” smirked Lori. "Well, Little Thomas." chuckled Gordon. "Now, you know what hard work is like, don't you?" "And I'm sure you know who's LITERALLY the boss of their siblings, don't you, Lincoln?" Lori said, cockily. Poor Thomas and Lincoln couldn't answer. They had no breath. They, Dorothy, Toto, Dora and Boots just puffed slowly away to rest, and the little blue engine had a long, long drink. And as evening was arriving, Thomas, Lincoln and their friends went home very slowly. After their unpleasant ride down the Main Line, they were careful afterwards, never to be cheeky to Gordon and Lori again. At least for a while. THE END.
