Hope we have functionality coming for the knobs on the Stream Deck+ soon? Those knobs cry out to control GL1 Pro brightness and temp! :)

Had all this setup a long time ago, got a new computer and now I can only seem to find Neewer Live 2.4G for the app and it is not letting me do anything, asking to plug lights into USB even though they are already configured for Wifi.

To really move in on the elgato light market you're going to need to include functionality for Stream Deck+ knobs. Also, my Neewer live app ALWAYS makes my lights a bright lime green, like it's not even using CCT. I can only do that with my phone app. All settings to set temp or adjust are all wrong and have a majorly green cast to the settings. I've even done the latest firmware update.

@@NeewerOfficial I was also excited to get Neewer GL1C lights, but then very disappointed that the Stream Deck+ Dials are not supported by the Neewer plugin. Using just one knob to turn on/off the light as well being able to adjust brightness would be so much better.
Hi, Neewer GL1C light supports Stream Deck（ + Dials (the round icon) is temporarily unavailable. ), please download our latest 'NEEWER Control Center' software on your PC/MAC for WiFi connectivity first and download the 'NEEWER Control ' plugin(2.0.0 version) from the Stream Deck platform. What is the difference between "Neewer Live" and "Neewer Control"? Both plugins show up in Elgato Marketplace for stream deck.

Does this only connect to the stream deck via wifi? Can you connect with the 2.4g usb?
Thank you for your interest. Sorry that the stream deck works with WiFi connected only; it cannot be used with 2.4G USB or Bluetooth connection.
@@NeewerOfficial this is disappointing, not because that's the only way it can function, but the fact that everywhere in any information and instructional videos you provide, to actually say that. Instead you have advertised as a light that can be connected any amount of ways, which is untrue. It only works in the control center in 2.4g and does not hook up to bluetooth, it actually says in the control center that Neewer Bluetooth dongle not found, which is not an actual product I can find that you sell. So the light in my opinion should be advertised as only connectable to elgato stream deck through wifi, for sales you omit this so people buy it and find it out through use, which makes me feel slighted.
how do you do this through the bluetooth with the GL1C?
thats great, but if i am wanting to use an additional cb60 bi colour or rgb to work with a softbox via elgato stream deck then you have a full live recording ability, all the lights should have this feature

@@NeewerOfficial you're welcome, not all streamers are gamers, there are streamers who have podcasts and different requirements of lighting from practical lighting (bulbs needing to be on wifi) to softboxes as key lights - what would be advantageous is the following:
1. create neewer rgb bulbs for e27 and other sizing to use as practical lights in a setting
2. NEEWER RGB168 18.3" LED Video should have wifi connection to elgato too - they make great off camera lighting for backgrounds and on presenter
3. need a NEEWER softbox light like the CB60 B and the CB60 RGB to be controlled to attach a softbox.
if all of these have ability to connect via wifi and control with elgato streamdeck, then its a complete streaming, recording and filming solution - because right now i pesonally have different lights from different companies because nothing works together or if they do make something then some features are held back and only have app control or alexa or google control - but dont hold back features so any light you bring out can be used for any streaming or recording solution.
i would love to do a video on how i set up a streaming studio with all neewer lights if you want to sponsor it welcome to contact me.
Neewer App Stream Deck app not working. "Accessory Not Found". Connected light to my Wifi, but my computer isn't on Wi-Fi and I would think a large percentage of creators have a WIRED connection.
I knew it was too good to be true. Light is fine, but software is blah

Terrible - The light itself works, but all of the technology around it does not function. Did not work with my Stream Deck and the Windows version of the Control Center flakes out when you try to connect it. Looks like 1980's technology. Amazon return after four hours and going to the Elgato because I know it will work.

Can not connect it to the Wifi, I set it to 2.4 Gh/z but still not working. These chips are just cheap... Why is it so difficult to get a Connenction with damn lights?

I hope someone can help me control my different Neewer bi-color lights through my Stream Deck.: In my Windows computer I have the "2.4G USB Wireless Transmitter Adapter". Both with the "NEEWER Live 2.4G"-app and with the "NEEWER Control Center"-app I can control my different Neewer Bi-color light. I have both the "NL660" light and the "RP19H" ring light. I have installed the "NEEWER Live" and the "NEEWER Control" plugins in the "Elgato Stream Deck"-app (it appears to be the same plugin). But when I try to configure the buttons on the Stream Deck, the "Stream Deck"-app says "Accessory not found".
I am stuck... Is it not possible right now to use the Stream Deck for the type of Neewer lights I have...? I hope someone can clarify...
Hi! Thank you for your interest. But sorry that neither the "NL660" light nor the "RP19H" ring light doesn't support the Elgato Stream Deck.
Thanks for your reply and answer. I also concluded this. But it doesn't have to be like this, you only have to update the "NEEWER Live 2.4G" and/or the "NEEWER Control Center" applications. Can you put this in your roadmap, and when do you think you can release this functionality ? It will improve the functionality of your existing products a great deal @@NeewerOfficial
We apologize but we do not currently have any such plans. A Wi-Fi-capable device is required to adjust to the Stream Deck; however, the "RP19H" ring light and the "NL660" light do not support this function. Thanks in advance for your understanding.@@jakobankerhansen
My stream deck says "Please launch NEEWER Control Center" and wont work to control any of the functions. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps and the plugin for stream deck and nothing seems to work :/

@jdawg206A Yeah, I have some cheaper ones, and the big benefits to this one is that you can control the warmth (yellow-ish hue) and how cool (blue-ish hue) the light has as well as the intensity of the light all from ur phone (and maybe my steamdeck too as I just bought a new one that was delivered today) whereas the cheaper ones all just have filers one has to physically slide in and sich
What if the computer is on ethernet and not wifi ?
If the computer is not on WIFi, you need to confirm whether the Wi-Fi connected to the mobile phone is in the same local area network as the network connected to the computer. In the case of the same network, you can use the NEEWER APP to configure the network for GL1 Pro. After the network is configured successfully, then you can use NEEWER Live APP to control the light. So frustrated. Windows version is so flakey. Also questionable reasons why wifi needs location, has wifi compatability issues newer than 2015. Really disappointed and not even functional on windows. Virus total detected Neewer control to be a trojan. Even googled called it out. Computer also needs wifi. WTF, what if it's got a decent reliable connection on LAN? Doesn't support it. Could not get elgato working with the GL1 pro for the life of me.
