      Mick Parry Gudbye to Jane is totally amazing. Up there with AC/DC for riffs. Love them all and my god they've sold some cup of soup x

    Thank you Noel for calling "How Does it Feel" one of the best songs of all time. A friend of mine calls this song a cheap Beatles imitation, and I thought he really was wrong... Thanks to Noel I know it is no cheap Beatles imitation!

    Yeah when a song is popular 20 years on it is truly one of the greats, it matters not how much popularity you get at the time of your fame its what comes later that matters most.

    Jim Lea was a great songwriter and all round musician for Slade.
    I saw the Original Members at a Youth Club in a Northants town 1972 (Lemmy and Hawkwind played the same venue soon after) as they did a tour of small venues around the country and in Wales too if I remember rightly..
    I don't know which band I would prefer to see live now with the original line-up...... Slade or Oasis.. And I Don't Know Why..........

    I've always wondered if they ever regretted not playing live aid....it would have been the shot in the arm they d have needed look at queen, the who,bands on the way out and became huge again.

      It was nothing to regret. They simply weren't invited. But in a fan club magazine interview in 1986 Dave Hill said they should have been invited.

    A fan my ass...How does it feel is from a sixties set movie..get teal hes into pop beatles and monkees twaddle...SLADE were MOVE OVER BABY..DO THE DIRTY...BE...adinfinitum..He dont like that music..also HOW does it feel efged their career...it sold half wot all before did..wasnt their spound dude..its a movie soundtrack and shoulda remained the same..
