Great job on a very unuasual squirrel, if your soaking the hide could you not have used a tail stripper on the tail? I seen you cut it all the way out , maybe a stripper would tear it, better safe than sorry on a one in a million squirrel 🐿️
Heyyy was he shipped from upstate ny ? We had one around haven't seen him in several weeks, I was hoping it would reproduce so I could get a couple pelts

I don't tan the smallest critters... birds and squirrels just get preserved. It's 100% sanitary and safe but not a true tan

Haha nope this one was local! Actually the only one I've ever seen but last year another taxidermist got one too!
