As a long term Tarago driver, I’m seriously wondering what Toyota were thinking!
    A very helpful review, thanks!

Yes it's a bit like that! Left it wide open for the Kia Carnival!

the boot is small because of number of seats , if u want boots then push the seat forward or bent them, if it has boot aswell then it will have les leg room for seats also or has to increase in body, so it is perfect van

This is made for Uber / taxi drivers. Definitely made for business use not personal.

In Asia market this is used as a transport for tourists. Some used it as passenger vehicles for public transport. I don’t see why Australian market need these?

Because the Tarago was discontinued, Toyota needed something to fill the gap. I agree this car isn't suited for the Australian market

emptybottle2405 I bet this is expensive gamble for toyota, and this wasn’t even packaged in a right way. Judging by this review it does not have a boot or cargo space for this size. So it kind of defeats the purpose.

Car import tax on the Vietnamese market is 3 times higher than the original price sold in the US. Many Vietnamese people are expecting a reasonable car import tax to buy cars

Most people import the Alphard/Vellfire twins

    Should be 6-7 seaters

There is another version with fewer seats but the design of the interior would still be compromised

It looks all right, but the 3rd/4th Gen Carnival would do better.

initially i wanted this as i have a big family... but i mean this car has ticked off all the reasons to not get it, i mean why the hell would they sell this in Australia? Literally serves no purpose in the australian market apart from the commercial versions
