Im so glad the lady at my " job in training" found this channel for me. LOVE IT FIRST TIME WATCHER. I really needed this. 💯 THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS, GOD BLESS YOU. 67 and just getting back in the business after yearsss. Was not taught cutting in school basiclly. No such thing as retirerment . God bless Y'ALL. And im learning the different Clipper Setting.
7:25 great point I use to make that same mistake when I started. Once I began to anchor the clipper and trust the guard system my cuts improved dramatically.
I dont mean to be off topic but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
@Jaxson Jake thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.

I enjoy your videos tremendously! I'm also a crossover from Cosmo and struggling w getting the blurr factor blurry enough! U have helped me a LOT. I hear in my head at work today, "don't move on to the next step until this one is finished"!!! THANK YOU! Best advice Eva!
@@TH-camBarberAcademy thank u! I just started the day after watching u on MMAs live interview :) u truly have helped me A LOT!!!! Gid bless and thank you!!!
Omg I love how you show the step by step and say what kind of tool your using on every step. I notice how gentle you are. You're holding those blades and clippers like a painter😍so gentle and precise😍 I love it.
I love the way that you break everything down in steps/show what it is that you’re actually doing, what you’re changing to etc. Even though I know XYZ, I’m still so far from being able to do fades like this. Honestly, I wish I had the money for you to train me in person. I’ve had my license since 2017, & I’ve gone to different shops that promise up & down that they’ll train, & they have little to no follow through. & I’m a hands-on learner predominantly, & I appreciate all that you do, as it is very helpful 🫶🏼
@@TH-camBarberAcademy One thing that I don’t do is sugarcoat, I just speak truth. You’re more than welcome 😊 I’ve seen a few of them over the last week, I hadn’t actually seen one of your videos in however long, maybe because of the algorithm. Curious, if you only have the TH-cam videos, or do you also have Instagram, & or Facebook? Honestly, all of it has been a little bit frustrating, given the things that I shared with you,but I don’t want to give up..I want to learn every little aspect of it, so all of your details are definitely appreciated 🙏🏼♥️
Learning a lot on your videos and I’ve never really cut hair seriously. I’m in the military and on deployment getting good haircuts is rough. I’d like to get serious in cutting for myself and give out to my boys. This skill brings in a lot of camaraderie within squadrons. Someone is always needing a haircut amongst us. Thank you for vids. God Bless.
Thank you for making these videos. I watch you and Ant the Barber a lot. It has taken several years for this self taught mom to be any good, but I did my first low bald fade and it turned out great. Line up on point. Couldn't do it it with out you teaching me.
Low fades are so compressed it’s to easy to stretch the blend out and make it a mid to high fade. Clients have to realize the detail that goes into a fade it’s true art
I am from the Barbery Coast Hair Studio in Newport Beach California. I have to say that you have the easiest to follow tutorial! You are awesome! I would love to have you come to our salon and do a class!!!!
This is by far the best video Ive seen on TH-cam which discusses the fading down, in particular you discuss the system and why it works. All too often TH-cam barbers just show what they're doing to create an excellent haircut which is great but can be hard to replicate as one needs to have really put in the reps to figure out why it works and this video I feel, the fading down part in particular is explained exquisitely. Keep up the great work.
This should get more recognition!! He really went into details with everything and explained everything perfectly!! This is well explained video! Thank you so much! This really helped me out in understanding.
Wow! I didn't know the clippers had so many settings. Thanks for sharing your info. I have to say in my opinion you're probably one of the best barber.
Love your videos man. I’m in barber school right now and it’s mostly a beauty school so the barbers are sticking together teaching each other everything and your videos have helped me a ton. Appreciate you my man!

Ik this video is old bro but I followed your steps to fade to do my temple fade and omg it’s so much easier than the flick at the line method. Appreciate you boss. Now I can finally save money and have my son looking crispy
Your videos have helped me. Basics are extremely important. Haircutting isn’t hard it’s just important to stick to the basics before you start doing advanced haircutting techniques. You definitely cover the basic principles of haircutting. Thank you 🙏🏿
Dude I’m a pretty new barber student and my buddy at school was telling me fading down was better for low fades but couldn’t tell me why. But now I get thanks to you bro! Great video!
Awsome video. Mastering low fade is difficult. I like what you said about moving on to step 6 when you should be on step 2. Slow down and sometimes it saves time .

Thank you I’m in barber school and I’ve had a hard time getting what the instructor is trying to teach on how to use the guard system you have made the concept so easy to understand thank you for sharing your videos
As a hairdresser for decades, an educator for Wella, and a period hairstyles educator (for those who want to pursue hair careers in TV, theatre, and film) , I must say you do excellent work and are a very good instructor. If I may offer one piece of constructive criticism, the correct pronunciation of "parietal" is pa-RI-e-tal, rather than perri-ET-al. The industry needs more people like you.
I really enjoyed this video!! I want to really try this. I’m 16 and I’m not sure if girls come in here a lot but this is something that I look up to. I needed these tips!

The guideline is a guide, so if someone starts to texturise the GL, it will leave it lower than what you started with. How you did it there was right. Texturise after you leave the guideline. I always shift to the sides when texturising as to leave the length on top the desired length. I don’t see any reason to texturise the guideline. I’ve been cutting hair for around 12 yrs, so I understand that comment. Love your video man, keep up the hard work (coz it’s hard work cutting hair, but it’s a lot of fun and rewarding when u see the client happy with your work) cheers man.
Always used my balding and settings to blend in skin fades...and picking with 4 inch scissors. But on back of this got a 50cal. Makes life so easy...don't have to rely on my old eyes as much anymore or the wrist flick. So much less mentally tiring too. Cheers.
U told me that there was a no reason to flick out if my setup was proper, and blade was flat....your absolutely correct bro I didn’t believe you at first the Only time I do is sometimes during a low bald taper w/ Compressed blend

Hi Eddie, So for me I am learning military cuts. My big issue is leaving shadows. Maybe you could do some training videos for the different military haircuts sometime. This video was my first time watching your instructional videos, and I really enjoyed it. Thanks.
We're all mostly the same. I skip step 2 to get to 5 and just see something off.. I have to perfect it to actually make it look good before hand so when I do get to the spot it's actually looking sharper either skip the step or just continue with it haha.. great work brother
New to cutting and I want to make sure I follow you. Are you saying it’s better to keep the clippers to the scalp and hold at an angle to remove the line instead of using the flicking motion?
