The lack of a main character is this games weakness. There should just be quests to recruit certain specialised characters and then use them for certain specified missions e.g. you need to recruit someone from Clan Kelley, so you can safely infiltrate them. Recruit someone from the ambulance service so you can use an ambulance for a certain mission etc. As it is, if one of your operatives dies, or is nicked, you just casually pick another character. There's no attachment. No reason to care for them. Other than that, it's a very good game.
You can turn permadeath on and if they die then you never can use that charter again if you want. Honestly despite that I feel like if I do something dumb and lose access to my preferred character it kinda forces me to play someone else with a different style. It has its pros and cons for sure but honestly I kind of like it, but can also see why others don't
Tbh, they added alot after all the updates. You can customize alot of any person you recruit. Also buy the bloodlines dlc that makes the game even 10 times better! If possible play the ps5 version and select balanced in options so you get a better framerate.
Resistance mode fixes this games issues so much. From easy stealth now becoming a tense and thrilling procedure to hacking actually becoming a viable use, this making characters such as the hacker actually usable. Melee combat is preferable to guns, leading to the football hooligan and bare knuckle boxer being usable even though the spy has the strongest melee in the game. And finally resistance mode fixes the idea of just using one recruit, as the one recruit you have developed an attachment to may die any mistep, leading to you recruiting more people whether it be their abilities or just the fact that if they are there that it adds another life to stop a game over.
Exectly. After all the updates this is one of the most innovative and unique games I have ever played. And when u fully immerse urself into it and its story (wich I find REALLY interesting tbh, when u know some basic stuff about its terms or search it up. It has the best gameplay, a satisfying story with interesting insides and a pretty tough but true massage in the main game aswell as the DLC & the best online mode out of all the games in the series. Such a damn good save for this game. Its just sad that the change it did gets no attention like the Cyberprunk improvements. Eventhough that game is nothing but a copy of FarCry and Watch Dogs and still not what they promised us, but well.... Short answer: you’ll find yourself fast travelling majority of the time, and building your ideal team only to loose them one by one either to propane tanks or not knowing what awaits for you In a mission if you can settle with that then give it a go.
I bought it like a month ago. It is not a bad game. It is a good sandbox game. It is a bad Watch Dogs game though. It is bad because you have no central protagonist you can connect to and the story and other characters are a bit weak. On the other side as a sand box game it works great. Just recruit whoever you want with whatever skills you need and you are set for your next mission. Find someone with gunkata skill and you play John Wick. Use character with news drone and you don't need to enter the area to photo the evidence and so on. Ubisoft did not disapoint with London itself. They just know how to build the cities and the atmosphere. Can't talk about dlc's because I did not buy them.
I roleplayed the **** out of the characters and I actually really enjoyed the game. Maybe even more than the goofier Watch Dogs 2. I personally was able to somehow connect to "the cause" as the main protagonist... not characters, but DeadSec. I also found a super cool drone operator who had my name and was born in the same month as me, so I kinda connected to him.
Pre-ordered this game. The diverse open-world made me lose track of the main story for the fact that you can almost do anything you want, which is both good & bad at the same time. Story-wise it's the least favourite from all 3 games, but gameplay wise, it's on par with the 2nd game.
Idk I felt like plenty of my operatives had nice backgrounds. Like one of my operatives joined cause dedsec helped her when her friend was going to be wrongfully deported. Another one took longer to hire cause they had a loved one who was killed working with dedsec making them distrusting of the group.
What I don't like about the graphics is the art direction. It looks a bit like arch-viz - it has no real flair to it but it looks like they went with "realistic" without having the technical capabilities to really pull that off.
Honestly, I had the same dull experience when the game came out. However. Revisiting the game and playing through the entire game as AIDEN from WD1 or WRENCH from WD2 was a way more fun experience. I would only play through this again if you have it already or can get it for free.
I actually got this game at launch, due to me being a huge fan of the 1st 2 entries. I wasn't crazy about the story, I did enjoy the overall gameplay. However, I did end up putting the game down for quite a while, until recently. Now I've been getting into the story a little more, even though it's still not as good as 1 & 2. I really do like the diversity of switching between different characters with different skill sets. The Bloodline DLC was definitely an absolute win, IMO.
I didn't play it for a year due to the bugs that made the game crash, but once fixed, it was better than I thought, but would play watchdogs 2 more than this game.
Not far into the game, but I think its fun so far. I probably would've felt slightly ripped off had I paid full whack, but I got it for like a tenner, so I'm not complaining. Also not bothered about the lack of one individual protagonist that many people are crying about. I'm enjoying building my squad of weirdos running about in underwear and bare feet. You make it what you make it as far as I'm concerned, so I've made it funny. As for lack of story, if I wanted a story I'd read a book. I want to hack stuff and cause trouble 🤷🏼♂️ My verdict: People whinge too much about trivial shit. Stop looking for negatives in everything and actually try enjoying stuff. This is a decent game. I still definitely prefer WD2 though, I won't lie.
I just got it and I'm having a blast playing it. Thankfully the are still people playing online so it's not totally dead. The campaign is super fun for me
The game is fun sometimes but there are two problems; Not many players with you in missions, So much gameplay lag in missions and randomly getting Albion or Clan Kelly chasing me either them spawning near or when I’m near a restricted area. And if it’s both of them, mainly Clan Kelly will use melee weapons or fists while Albion uses their guns.
The game itself was a lot of fun. I thought the idea of ‘playing as everyone’ was good on paper, but in the end it was very half-baked. That's why it would have made more sense to have either a pre-made main character or one you created yourself. This way, the game unfortunately lacked some identity.

Buy Watch Dogs 2 if you haven’t played it before, either on PC or XSX (due to fps boost) because it is such a overlooked underrated GEM. San Francisco is AMAZING to explore, characters are fun but not very deep, story could’ve been better if it didn’t try to take itself serious at the end but overall WD2 is a SOLID 8/10. WD1 7/10 WD2 8/10 WDL 5/10

Legion was a huge disappointment for me! I honestly hated not having a main character to connect with and learn about, the skills you unlocked seems so underwhelming, it felt more of a cash grab than usual for a franchise that was just getting its feet wet with more people appreciating WD1 and 2, the mission design was pretty boring like granted it had some cool missions here and there like bringing down clan Kelly was kinda fun and reminded me of bringing down the club in WD1 but after that storyline ended the rest of it was kinda meh. It’s just a shame that Ubisoft would rather bleed assassins creed dry with microtransactions than actually continuing to give watch dogs more attention. The only things I did like were the city design and they brought back Aiden and wrench to the game
I recently turned my copy of "Watch Dogs Legion"....I had it since it released but let me tell you why I sold it ...first things first when this first released I super pumped on buying this game. I was curious about the multiple protagonist characters & couldn't wait to see London's open world. After I beat the game ...I wanted to start over to play side quest I haven't gotten into during my first play. Here's where I disconnect with this...after about 3 hours playing I guess my anticipation high wore off cuz I started to get very bored with the game. I find myself doing the same thing over & over with no room for new discoveries. The multiple characters personality is so bland i find watching the paint on the wall more exciting...then it's the radio....I dug some of the UK Pop, Rap, & the House music...the talk radio was doo doo....it was nothing that GTA's Lazo would be bothered with....I like the city, liberating districts, I like speeding thru London's narrow streets when i evade the police & taking down "Mary Kelly" & her team "Clan Kelly" gang was cool ....other than that it didnt keep my interest long. Now I'll say this playing the DLC with "Aiden Pierce" made me wanted to get back to London.....but other than that the game was a pure miss...... 🕹️🤔🕹️🤔🕹️🤔🕹️🤔
I loved watch dogs 2. Skipped watch dogs 1 because a buddy was super hyped but then really disappointed when it originally came out. When they announced this one, I was really surprised that they took a risk with trying to do something creative with making any npc playable. But I didn’t get as into legion. I been wanting to go back to it. The season pass is on sale and so is the complete edition of 1. So I’m debating if I wanna just play 1 or if I want to expand on legion if I decide to get back into it.
Bruh if you haven’t played one I don’t understand what you are doing. It still holds up in 2024 and is the game I’ve replayed the most times without a doubt.
I enjoying the Watch Dogs Legion. Special online. London map is beautiful and many vehicles, gameplay is nice. Watch Dogs 2 - San Francisco map is beautiful and many vehicles. Watch Dogs - Missions difficultfor me.I don't like it.
I love Playing Watch Dogs: Legion. Especially U can Play Anyone that u See. Cause I don't really like Being Attached to One Character like other Games. Watch Dogs: Legion is one of the #01 Game that I Play. Which I love 💞 Switch Between Characters alot. But overall this Game has More Hours Played then all my 94 Games that I have in my Steam Library.
Awesome video! Extremely informative and well structured. 🎉🎉🎉 I'm in the minority of people that doesn't like the WD main stories and characters. And couldn't stand WD 2 for that reason despite the awsome gameplay, so the lack of a main character in Legion, ironically, is a plus for me. I grabbed the ultimate edition for 20 bucks, a more than fair price that allows me enjoy the game for what it is.
i remember i preordered this trash game in 2019 and paid the full $120 for the ultimate edition just to be disappointed… got the game for $5 just to see how it’s changed within the years and im still disappointed
I only started playing it because it’s free for ps+ extra, and I’m really enjoying it so far tbh. I know after I finish it I’m gonna delete it and never touch it again, but it’ll definitely be a game to remember.
Fax, I beat Watchdogs 1 & 2 but could never get into Legion after giving it multiple chances. The only reason I’d ever try it again is to play the dlc with Pierce & Wrench
No. Legion sucks. I'm not really a fan of any of the WD games but if you're looking for the best gameplay go play WD2. If you're looking for a better story and a more GTA like experience WD1 is the best because WD2's story and characters are ass not to mention they downgraded the gunfights and police ai. This game fails at both story and gameplay somehow and London is one of the blandest cities you could ever choose for a modern open world game 😂 Do yourself a favor and skip this one, in WD1 and 2 you could travel to the some of suburbs outside the city in this game nope!
Watchdogs 2 story was fucking terrible. It clashed with the gameplay at every turn. You're out there trying to be a good guy and literally murdering a bunch of random security guards. I just couldn't get past it.
@benfrese3573 don't got one,I got ps and switch. Never played cyberpunk cause people said it was buggy for super long and got wd legion instead, personally it was worth it

It has the best graphics of any TPS you can find and although you are doing mostly the same thing it is fun to play and interesting.
The story is like spying stuff, people don't need to like it at all.
Just try and have fun.
They always said the army is & government is 10 years ahead with electronics… just pay attention to this game
It's not a bad game if you don't mind grinding missions just to get someone to join your crew.
I''ll never get pass that when you hire someone who works in a company then use him to get inside the company his own work mates suspect him xD that makes 0 sense and break the whole immersion, also the voice acting sucks, it's embarrassing
WD1 7/10
WD2 8/10
WDL 5/10
Got it for 4$ on steam. I think its worth that price for sure
Oh yeah $4, you can't argue with that!
It’s not money your spending, especially if you pirate, it’s time, is it worth my time?
is the ultimate edition worth buying or nah??.
did you like watch dogs 2 and the new assassins creed games?
id say get it it has so much content
@@Demetrix13 bruh to be frank i haven't played none of these games. right now i just wanna hear opinions about this game. but i'll buy watch dogs legion for sure but im in doubt buying ultimate edition.
I think the story was just dry. At first i loved it. But i felt like when u shot someone for an example it wasnt a big deal no limping or anything mostly lack of realism in general!
My answer: yes, doesn't matter it did very well for me maybe if i did
You could hack multiple enemies in 2 with Binet resources but legion there’s a cooldown for every hack and you can only do it once
I'm watching this since I recently bought all 3 Watchdogs games (the entire franchise) for about $10 on sale via Steam lol. I am still convincing myself to believe that Legion is the best among all franchises as it has the largest file lol.🤣
This is like four bucks right now so I'm here loved pt 2
It gets heavily discounted during the major steam sales. So yeah short answer. Buy it on a discount during sales and never on full price😅
Legion is firee! Just got it
For me I had fun with it, just do whatever you want really in the game
I played it and in the end my team fallen so those fkers didn't let me load the last save
Got this game for 10 dollars at walmart the other day...not enjoying it in the slightest i find myself constantly checking my phone or watching youtube instead of playing the game
But yet, you watch a video of the game ...Go nap buddy
@arkhamknight6371 cause I wanted to see what other people thought of the game? You should go nap buddy it isn't a crime to watch a review video
@@reject1012 Sure, naptimeeeeee 😴

I Love the Game. IT needs more time to get in
I recently turned my copy of "Watch Dogs Legion"....I had it since it released but let me tell you why I sold it ...first things first when this first released I super pumped on buying this game.

I already have but I’m still watching this video
Watch dogs legion isn’t a regular game. It’s a documentary
Literally what are you talking about
@@Sev2000 are you interested to know? It’s just my opinion in light of recent geopolitics
the answer is yes only if you want to play bloodline
I got it a week ago and i am lovin it 👍
10:30 minutes without multiplayer 😂
If it’s as bad as the main game I don’t even wanna try it
I loved watch dogs 2.
Solid review my guy👌🏾
My answer:yes
I got it to £4.00 for cex
I love this game I have to be honest. It has a tone of flaws. And the save game bug is a pain in the ass but I can’t help but love it.
I love the Spiderbot
I bought it today!😂
Warning... If you connect your console online after unlocking assasin outfit, logging into ubisoft deletes that outfit😑

Awesome video! Extremely informative and well structured. 🎉🎉🎉
I'm in the minority of people that doesn't like the WD main stories and characters. And couldn't stand WD 2 for that reason despite the awsome gameplay, so the lack of a main character in Legion, ironically, is a plus for me.
I grabbed the ultimate edition for 20 bucks, a more than fair price that allows me enjoy the game for what it is.
The dlc is good though, and the game is dirt cheap so
i remember i preordered this trash game in 2019 and paid the full $120 for the ultimate edition just to be disappointed… got the game for $5 just to see how it’s changed within the years and im still disappointed
my answer: no
I only started playing it because it’s free for ps+ extra, and I’m really enjoying it so far tbh.
Who tf doesn’t have the game it came in like 2020
i cant even load into multiplayer
It’s no classic, but am enjoying the game so far about 7/8 hrs in. Not sure why the game has got so many negative reactions.😢
I think it’s to shows wht would really happen with a resistance ig, wasn’t a good idea tho
Don’t play that game even for free it’s horrible I feel sad how ubishit destroyed that series it was really good the first 2 parts
Bought it for $7
Cant ride the trains 😂😂😂
I love watch dogs
Good game, good new mechanics, meh story, and the worst "london" why did it have to be such a boring setting, any other city would have been fun
Any other city would have been the same exact thing. Good game, good new mechanics, and meh story.
Shut your mouth lol. That city is gorgeous.

simple answer: no. buy watch dogs or watch dogs 2
YES!
UPLOAD a NEW VIDEO RIGHT NOW
Honestly you fell off
Typical ubisoft game. Great idea. Poor execution and gameplay
No dont buy it pirate it. Ubisoft is ahh dont support them
Watchdogs 2 story was fucking terrible. It clashed with the gameplay at every turn. You're out there trying to be a good guy and literally murdering a bunch of random security guards. I just couldn't get past it.
FUCK NO!
