I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Champlin in 2004 after a CHICAGO concert. I had 20 years of admiration for him bottled up, and I may have praised his talent--a lot. Bill was humble and kind as he replied, "If you think I'm good, you should hear my son Will." I replied, "Well, I think you're brilliant, so your son has to be incredible beyond words!" Four years later I was introduced to Will's music; I've never looked back. I just can't comprehend how he isn't on the radio!!!
I keep coming back to this performance. The song and the delivery are so beautiful. For me personally, this resonates with an uncomfortable slice of the experience of losing a loved one. Thanks so much, Will!
When you're facing The end of your days What of your life Would you have changed I know, brother You've seen the rain Wish I could sing you Your pain away Cause it don't matter Where you've been What you've done It ain't the end Oh when the saints come marching in Down the streets The streets of sin Singin' "Ooooh" "Oooh" So use my lungs and breathe And take these eyes and see That you're not alone And I'm begging you please To use my lungs and breathe Tomorrow's uncertain But your debts are paid So trade in your burdens That stand in your way While all the sad songs Are getting known His hope for you To ease your soul And when the saints come marching in Oh, down the streets The streets of sin Singin' "Ooooh" "Oooh" So use my lungs and breathe And take these eyes and see That you're not alone And I'm begging you please To use my lungs and breathe Ooooh Oooh And breathe Mhmmm Ooooh Oooh Oh, breathe

Wow this is so beautiful 😍
I heard this beautiful sound on a movie "The Lost Boy" and instantly felt it's power 😍 I had to find it 😍😍😍
He inherited his parents' talent for sure. What a powerful voice😮
I grew up listening to his dad so not surprising how good this is.

Love his voice
Beautiful
My favourite song by Will. Sing this (badly!) in my car a lot.
It is a great song!
Breathtakingly beautiful.....writing and singing.
Beautiful song Will!
you're great, I hope you come to Spain with your music.
Perfect song
I love ❤️ You Will! You sing this song so perfectly ❤️
I actually prefer this live version than the studio version. Alot more texture and pain in his voice.

When you're facing
The end of your days
What of your life
Would you have changed
I know, brother
You've seen the rain
Wish I could sing you
Your pain away
Cause it don't matter
Where you've been
What you've done
It ain't the end
Oh when the saints come marching in
Down the streets
The streets of sin
Singin' "Ooooh"
"Oooh"
So use my lungs and breathe
And take these eyes and see
That you're not alone
And I'm begging you please
To use my lungs and breathe
Tomorrow's uncertain
But your debts are paid
So trade in your burdens
That stand in your way
While all the sad songs
Are getting known
His hope for you
To ease your soul
And when the saints come marching in
Oh, down the streets
The streets of sin
Singin' "Ooooh"
"Oooh"
So use my lungs and breathe
And take these eyes and see
That you're not alone
And I'm begging you please
To use my lungs and breathe
Ooooh Oooh
And breathe
Mhmmm
Ooooh Oooh
Oh, breathe
Good song, but Gorgeous vocals.
