- What is cheap freight. What is a good rate per mile for cargo vans. Cheap freight has many definitions. What is a decent and acceptable rate for one driver may not be as decent as acceptable for another driver. The discussion about cheap freight is old but it never ends. The Gig Geezer also answered a couple of questions that were posed in the comment section of recent uploads: What is a good rate per mile for sprinter/cargo vans? And which pays better: a straight line haul or a percentage of it?

Good info Geezer
OTR and Reginoal is the way to go. I’ve slowly pulled myself away from gig apps
You’re on a role my good sir.. you’re dropping them it’s hot!
I'm tired of doing local gig work, they don't pay crap and make you labor work for pennies.
There's a Dispatcher is connecting with a broker, so I have to pay 3 people, factoring company as well. Total 3 guys
How this works? You go through a Dispatcher and he book a load with a broker or you go directly with a broker? How much you pay a broker and how much factoring company cost you ? Thanks for your help brother 🙏
I think his numbers are based on NC/SC market
I believe that you want to be a good person. I think there is some information that you have wrong concerning immigration. That information was displayed to you incorrectly to manipulate you and lead you to an incorrect conclusion. The conclusion you were led to is fundamentally racist. It's a bit of a long conversation but I would like to point out that Visa holders cannot get government assistance until they have lived in the United States for 10 years, and only then they are only getting access to one benefit which they will likely be denied for.
I feel like your comments put an undue amount of responsibility on migrant workers. The responsibility lies on the business to do the right thing and for government to regulate business to make sure they do the right thing. Since there is no regulation, companies are lowering their delivery rates to capitalize on more migrant drivers in the United States. If there was an actually clear path to immigration, and if there were government regulations and investicated boards, this would not be an issue and our offers would be correct.
Again, I think you are trying to be the best person you can be. I just think you are deliberately misinformed by people who want to spread racism and hateful ideologies.
Please reconsider your stance.

I've held back from making any reference to drivers with visas or even illegal immigrants. But I don't talk about anything without having done some homework.
By the way, the numbers given and any references were to the article source.
