Living in America is next to impossible. I am honestly unable convince my parents to go to NYU. I put in 3 years and am finding it complete waste. Because parents won't be convinced. We are required to take education loan (when my parents are retiring), I promised them that it's gonna be me who ll repay after getting a job. But even work visa in USA is not guaranteed 😔😔😔

There was one chawl type housing with red roof (these are housing literally labelled by room number, with no attached toilet and a common balcony per floor). You won’t believe it was in the Zone 1 area of Bombay (literally downtown area) and it was full of Muslims loitering out in the passage, fully covered from head to toe in black and white costumes. I was shocked! Im pretty sure there were atleast 10 to a room in that chawl building!!! Rather they live comfortably in downtown or just move out to the suburbs or something like seriously!!

But, This VIDEO was not that Vibe.. it was a forced compromise of some sorts... because these Poor Vulnerable Students.. Didnt want to upset a Friend they are Dependent on for Years to come.
Firstly you should be thankful to God that you living a good life I.e you say you share an entire apartment with 3 guys. Yeah that’s really good. But theres nothing wrong with 6 guys sharing a an apartment too. It’s upto their capacity. I’m an Indian too, working in Dubai . N trust me I’ve seen the worst of worst situations. 8-9 people in one room . It’s basically 18-20 ppl sharing one apartment. Pls don’t judge the guys. I’m reminding you again, be thankful to god for what you have !!

I have one question. Is chasing the "American dream" really worth it? I mean I get that US has more opportunities and stuff and India comes nowhere close. But spending hundreds of thousands of dollars for education and living in congested apartments when you could afford tier 1 colleges in India, does not seem worth it.
But the hardwork will pay off because if you have an American university degree then you can get job wherever you like in your particular field. So yeah it's worth it for employment opportunities

The job you get will offer so much money that you might get everything you spent back in around 2 salaries. So I think it's totally worth it. Then you can live lavishly for the rest of your life. In my field (physiotherapy) the pay in India is 25k to 45k per month. In USA, it is 1 lakh per month. Now decision is upto you.
