The first and major error was location. The DoH was offered, free of charge, an 8 acre brown field site on the Nass dual carriageway, just north of Newlands Cross, but for reasons that defy logic and understanding they chose the St James campus. The fault for this catastrophe lies with Leo Varadakar, Simon Harris and senior civil servants in the Department of Finance and the Department of Health. It’s a national scandal of gargantuan proportions, for which nobody will ever be held accountable.
Bike shed,Security post,Hospital, watching the OPW people before the committee they have no clue about building,I spent 30 years working construction and I'm sure the builders are running rings around them
Same as building the Royal Canal. When finished it worked well only to be outdone by the train. The hospital will be great. Hopefully many new cures will come along and the hospital won't be needed.
No. It's not merely or solely Public Expenditure. Can you guess who else might be involved in *State-owned structures?* Yes. That is right children - *The O-P-W*
BAM built the Ennis bypass as far as I remember and finished the project ahead of schedule... difference is they had a proper plan from the start. The problem is the government of course.
One of the green fields off the M50 and a new luas track . Wait ontil the Techinacal systens go in wont stop at 3/4billion said this i was laughed at. Whos laughing now not the tax payer
government has failed at every level housing imagination healthcare security and to call it cheap when its now the most expensive hospital ever build or not built in fact its now one the most expensive building ever built on the planet sure they couldn't even build a bike shed i waiting over a year to get blood work done this is a 3rd world country
