I’ve lived in Adairsville my whole life. It’s cool to see people making videos about our little town. That gas station you passed that was closed down used to be one of our busiest truck stops back in the 90’s to early 2000’s. There used to be some sketchy stuff going on there. A lot of prostitution and drug stuff going on back then unfortunately. The truck stop was going through periods of being open/closed while going through different owners. It even had a dine in cafe at one point for a short time. Even though the truck stop was closed/abandoned for a while there was a small farmers market/boiled peanut stand that was in the parking lot. In 2013 there was a tornado that came through and destroyed a lot of the area around the gas station including the farmers market.
I saw a driver from Tennessee at the checkers in Calhoun in the left side drive thru no one in the passenger seat. So he had to get out of his truck and walk to the window. Checkers has a walk up window in front. So this guy filming while driving just prove a point about morons on fourlane
