Absolutely not. I owned this guitar. It had at least 3 owners in Ireland before it went to South America. The pickups in my Gibson Victory MVX sounded better then this. Plus the relicing on the tuners stopped one tuner from working. When I took it to the shop to get fixed the tuner ferrule was twisting in the wood. A most disappointing guitar purchase. The serial number is 9 and my birth year.

What an amazing sounding and looking Guitar Mike ..thanks for an excellent Demo..wow the Dirty Tone through the Marshall..just amazing..if you like your Dirt to be dished via a pair of Humbuckers in a mahogany body it really doesn't get much better than that and i can see by the look on your face you were having such a great time playing it.
This one looks so much like the real deal ......amazing guitar ...you can tell how good it is intonated by all your chord work .....Mike you are a fine player !!! I love your style !!!

I can't think of an amp I'd less rather demo that thing through. If there every was an amp that can absolutely crush the personality out of a guitar entirely, it's a modern, high-gain Marshall.

As it is my typical routine I have created the backing track on the day I have received the guitar and was inspired by this fine instrument. So it is basically a jam with a improvised melody over it. Ja, ja, das ist selbstgemacht bzw. ein Original. Danke fürs Vorbeischauen! ;)

At ~5min. in the video I show the amp settings. When you pause the video you can see clearly the knob-values on the JCM2000 for the distorted sound I used. You will also see the master at position 3, which means some stormy volume with that 100W head. :) However the sound will not work too well when the JCM is not tickled a bit. Apart from that there are no effect pedals involved, except for an early 90's no-name digital-delay via send/return with approx. 420ms. delay time.
